I agree with the comment re calories in v cals out...it seems that since wls my body doens' tfollow dieting 'rules' anymore. Sometimes, I eat more, I lose, then next time I have to eat less to lose. Everything seems topsy turvey now and it's a case of finding what is going to work this time.

Did you win out re the work top?? What did you go with in the end? PS hope you don't mind me doing this post - I love it and find it really helps with the bad days! I've decided to do it each Wednesday...

Hey Karen I don't think you are eating as bad as you think...try putting it into fitday or sparkpeople or somewhere and calculate the calories/protein. I thought I was eating way too much, and did this and found out was not eating enough calories (but did confirm that I eat way too less protein that I already knew!!). Give it a try and you might be surprised

coffee waffle peanut butter cookie tea chicken nuggets peanut butter cookie waffle tea puke and rally... the last couple of waffles didnt make it down. you would think that THIS far out, I would not get a stricture, but wow, I got one tonight. rats. back to ground zero now, liquids only.

Hi Jay, I am on the same boat as you...a girl that had surgery about a month after me called last night. She has been on a stall for a good 6 months,weighing the same,said she lost 80 pounds right away and then bam....quit.. But anyway,I know how you feel I have been stuck since the holidays! I guess I am just going to have to be satisfied with what I lost. It gets so depressing at times. But I look at it as at least I'm not gaining any either!! I will be out 16 months and we were told that it takes 18 to reach your goal.....don't think I will make it!! Hang in there,everyoneloses different,don't compare yourself with others! I even read where paople lose too much weight!! Don't think that will ever happen to me!! But you never know. Some people have been out for years and are still losing!! I have thought about diet pills even!!!

B cottage cheese S banana L beef jerky D bbq ribs and two asparagus spears and of course popcorn tonight. I think it helps me to know that I can have one snack tonight. If I say that I won't it makes me want something else. I am taking the kids out for icecream tonight and I will get a latte... mmmm delicious lattes, thank you!

you know how much i love pma's! 1) i was prepared for the kids to go to school today and everything went smooth as silk it was a real pleasure 2) two out of three kids went to the dentist and got a great check up 3) i managed to make dinner in my NEW kitchen and the dinner was great and the kitchen is even better! I have storage space up and through my wazoo. 4) I woke up today smiling and continued to do so even when things got hectic. andi

I'm right there with you...I did not think I would really have to "diet"...up and until my 1 year anniversary I NEVER had a plateau...now I've been on one for 4 months...I want to think that if I keep on doing what I'm doing that all of a sudden those last 10lbs will go away...but that is not realistic...I do have to watch what I choose to put in my mouth etc... What I have learned that it is not "calories in versus calories out"...our bodies are not working that way anymore, if they ever were. Trish
