we've got (2) fur babies coming next week - two grey stripeys they'll be sampson and delilah (aka sam and lila) and sammy is the runt of the litter, my favorite. They'll be 6 weeks old next week and ready to come to our house. ANDI

Topic: Old Habits
I am disappointed in myself...I have reverted back to my old habits just because I didn't like what the scales told me. How stupid is that - have I not learnt anything on this journey - well yes, actually, loads, but chose not to put my knowledge into my brain this weekend, grrrr. I have gone on a food fest (well as much as a post wlser can). I am stuffing food in my mouth, to spite myself. My (irrational) thoughts are if I gain weight by eating right, then I might as well eat what I like, no matter what I do it won't make any difference. My logic knows how crazy and ridiculous these actions are, but I still keep doing it. Well, the reason I'm posting is this, 1. so that if anyone else is doing this they will know they are not the only ones, and that we CAN control what we put in our mouths and our reactions to things do not need to include putting things into our mouths to consume 2. so that I can draw a line under this behaviour and start again. I WILL not eat anything else tonight, and WILL make wise choices tomorrow and WILL ensure that I eat when I am hungry, until I am no longer hungry. I WILL choose food that 'feeds' my body's needs not my emotions needs. Thanks for listening, and sorry I've been hogging the posts lately.

Isn't it wonderful...I now weigh less than I lost also...That is amazing to say! I've lost more weight than I currently weigh! I wish the other part were true. I actually feel as if I look older (fat has a "weigh" of filling out the wrinkles).

A weird day. I went out for lunch with my daughter and the selection was limited so I had a quesidilla and it was hard to put into fitday. I usually have some candies with maltitol when I haven't had a movement for a while, so I did that today and I put in the equivalent into fitday but I know that it probably isnt right but close. B-- protein shake S-- piece of crustless quiche L-- 1/2 ham and cheese sandwich on whole wheat, 1/2 serving Sun Chips, 1 nectarine S-- a small handful of chocolate chips (ugh, what was I thinking? They didn't even taste that great!) D-- I'm going to eat a piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter a couple hours before going to the gym to run ... I can't eat a full dinner before I run. After the gym, I don't know what I'll eat! It's a weird schedule for me! By the time I get home, it will be late but I know I have to eat something ... the key is to make wise choices instead of wolfing down the first thing I see! Deanna

Oh Ruth! Tortoise shell kitties are my favorites!!! I sure wish I could jump a plane and come on over and sneak one from ya! My 3 year old, Matthew, keeps begging me for a kitty of his own. He keeps saying he wants a kitty named Sam. We already have 2 cats but I might have to break down and ask Santa to bring him one for Christmas! Hee, hee! Deanna

No major plans for the weekend....this is the first weekend since May I dont have anything to do. Believe me I am going to take full advantage of it and watch movies or read or just catch up on stuff around the house. Next week I dive right back into all my duties. Have a great weekend everyone.
