Hi, my name is Clifford and I'm a looser....
Hello!
I'm had my LAP RNY on May 2nd at 7:30am and was back at home in my bed at 8:30pm on May 3rd.
I feel great. I had to ask the doc if he really did operate or if he just made five little holes so that he could get paid and left for a game of golf. I'm in no pain at all, and drinking, ugh i mean sipping well. I am wondeing when i'll wake up and realize that this is all a dream and my surgery isn't for another week or so.
i find getting used to eating on a schedule and getting the water in to be a new challenge...i'm also concerned that i can eat so much...i have no issue getting 4oz of cream of wheat down for breakfast....
I plan to walk walk walk, sip sip sip and rest rest rest for the next week or so, and then off i go, joining a gym and gonna hit this honeymoon period with a bang.
Take Care,
Clifford
MMMMMEEEEEEEETTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clifford, we were on the table at the same time-my surgery started at 7:30AM on Tuesday, ran 3-1/2 hours, and they had me up out of bed and walking that night. I have six holes, and some pain, but I'm doing great!
Got home yesterday, and probably could have gotten out Thursday, but my surgeon and the nurses did a great job.
Cliff
Hey Clifford,
So glad you are home. I have been emailing people to see if any one had any information about you. I am so happy you are feeling so well. I am an angel to a girl in Texas that had hers the same day and she says the same thing. She actually got concerned because she was feeling so well.
Take care and keep us updated. Robbin
