I made it to the other side...YEAH

My surgery was Monday, May 1st, I got home from the hospital yesterday. I feel so good, especially when I am up walking around. I got to take a shower this morning and take my bandages off, that felt awesome. I can't wait to soak in a hot though. My Dr sent me home on the Full Liquid diet. I was a little surprised by that as I don't think my tummy was ready for it. I ate some tomato soup last night and it went straight through me and my tummy has been rumbling all day today. Don't you think I should go back to clear liquids for a couple of days? Gas has been okay, the more I walk, the more it comes up. Thank you all for your prayers! Congratulations!!! I pray mine goes as smooth as yours. I went for pre-op at the hospital Tuesday and the nurse told me all that was going to happen which quite frankly scared me. She warned me about how much pain I will be in and that the first thought I would have when I woke up in recovery is why in the world did I do this. That wasn't very reassuring. I went for my pre-op visit at my doctor's office today and now it's just a matter of waiting until my surgery on Monday. It's nice to hear you are doing so well so soon out!!!
