Question on Biotin??? Anyone?

Well, I have been trying to get all my supplies bought. I wanted to purchase some biotin-I think I spelled that right-but I wasn't sure if there were different kinds? Is this only in pill form? Please let me know what kind you use and how you take it. I wanted to go ahead and start taking it but I wanted to make sure I will be able to use it after surgery. Trying to be prepared! Julie
