I am having the lapband surgery done on 5/3 I am very nervous-as far as failure because I was on HMR in the past and lost 80# in 4 months and gained it back double so my mind set is kind of negative--although I am very happy,excited,scared,I just can't believe I was approved by my insurance since for the past year they have all but told me they would not approve it-so I have put it on the back burner and now just three weeks ago I get an approval letter. My life is going to be better I hope. My only short term goal is to wear my wedding rings because I refused to get them sized up for a third time since Dec. 2004. I babble I'm sorry I'm just a nervous wreck. Thank you

Kelly, Congrads it just so happens I have been rescheduled to your date so I guess I have found a new buddy. 10 days to go and we will both be on the losing bench. Marah

Profect is a protein liquid drink... They come in little test tubes. You can buy them directly or thru www.bariatriceating.com. Make sure that with your soups and sardines that you aren't going to overboard with salt. That can have a major negative impact on your weight loss so be sure to keep that in mind.
