I HAVE A DATE - MAY 15th!! Anyone else?

I am so excited! I FINALLY got my surgery date, and it's May 15th. This Monday I go for my endoscopy, and if all looks well I'm on track for Pre-Op/Complications on the 11th and I report for my new birthdate at 5:30 a.m. on the 15th. Is anyone else having surgery at Atlanta Medical Center on the 15th? If so, we can be walking buddies. I'm really excited the day is almost here, but now the nerves are kicking in. But I suppose it's all normal, and the sooner the day gets here, I get the surgery over with, and I get on "the losing side," the better I'll be!!

Congrats on your date. We have the same re-birthday. I report to the surgical center at 6 am and my surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am. WOO HOO. Only 23 more days!!! Phenom

Hi. May 15th is my date also. I hope . I still have to lose 10 pounds by the 9th of May. I am doing a liquid protein diet. Also they can't send out my prior approval till I get my pre-op which is the 4th of May. That only leaves six business days to get approval. The lady that takes care of this stuff doesn't seem to bright, but my Surgeon is A+. Yeah to US. I am scared how about you? I know I need it but still scared to death. You also need to find out what your insurance requires before they approve the surgery. Not only did I have my list from my surgeon but I also had to loose 5% weight before my insurance would approve the surgery. Mainly you should start writing down all of your attempts at weight loss since I had to do that on numerous documents. Some insurances require that you write a letter stating the reason if yours does I would also start working on that.
