date changed from Apr 24th to May 1st

I was originally schedule for surgery on April 24th. The office gave me a choice to move it up to April 11th or back to May 1st. Since I have an out of town meeting with my job I had to move it back to May 1st. I am happy with that. I have waited 5 months so whats one more month. I am excited as well as nervous. I have read just about everything I could on weight lost surgery and all of the interest update on this website. I will be praying for all of us to make a speedy recovery. This is a life decision that we have made and not an easy one. One day at a time is all I can say. Karen

Good luck Karen. I was given almost the same option. I was scheduled for a date and then called back the next day with a choice of either having the surgery a week before or a week after the original date of May 12th and I chose the 5th.
