Just wanting to wish you the best as you begin your journey! I had my gastric byass 3 years ago and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I started out weighing 370 lbs with a BMI of 61.1 and given the tool of WLS, I am now 145 lbs with a BMI of 23. (Womens 6/7X to a Misses 2/4) What's more important than the numbers, I went from barely being able to walk to my mailbox to being a Certified Physical Trainer at the Bally's near where I live. Life still has its ups and downs. but I can live and feel good about myself now! Wishing you all the best as you go through your own journey and if ever I can be of support whether it be as angel/mentor, friend, and/or personal trainer, please don't hesitate to email me. I'll be presenting at the upcoming ObesityHelp Conference in Pittsburgh this May 12 to 14! I'd love to see you there!!!! Hugs, Caroline Ann Martin -225 lbs @ goal, WWW.ABUTTERFLYEMERGES.COM

Thank you. Your posting is so inspiring. I'm all for anything that promotes a happier, healthier lifestyle. Seeing so many amazing results which have lead to longer more fulfulling lives has given me the "guts" to take this surgery on.
