Thoughtful Thursday
Good morning All
How did yesterday go? I thought I'd been doing faily well until I got on the scales this morning and found I'd gained a pound :o( I find that though, the more I focus on it, it seems the worse I do. If I don't focus on it, I do better but don't lose - just maintain.
I really want to start losing again, even though my body obviously likes this weight. Found these canned soya beans in tomato sauce which I like and are very filling and packed with protein, so I'm going to stock up on those, and try to cut my carbs again.
So here's the thoughful bit of the day...
What do you think has been the BEST part of losing weight?
For me it is the improved health and fitness. I love that I can run around with my daughter and still am able to breath and not be a bit out of breath! This summer we ran along the beach which was a fantastic feeling. I love when she puts her arms around me and can give me a proper hug - whereas before she could barely reach to my sides. That feeling is so precious.

The best part of losing the weight has been finding myself....the real me the one that isn't afraid to speak her mind, that can tough it out with the rest of 'em the one that can get all dressed frilly and girly and fit in or dress in sweats and tough it out when and where she wants to.
Today was only ok, I got in the vitamins and the fluids but also more junk then I wanted, I need to pack my lunch so when it's 2pm and i haven't eaten yet i have something besides crap to turn to! I want to buy a trampoline, i'm hoping i can get one for my birthday i'd really love it. It's a gift of fun for the family!

You know what? I think you have hit the nail on the head - finding yourself. That to me is by far the MOST important result of this journey.
DON'T let her disappear in the stress of today - you are far too valuable for that and to allow that to happen to you. Put HER first and the rest will all slot into place...
