What's up guys?
Hi All
boards been quiet for a few days. I'm been manically busy and so now am exhausted. Thankfully we are on mid semester break, so this morning after dropping my daughter off at day camp and then hitting the gym, popping into work to correct a web page that had some faults, doing the weekly grocery shop, I came home and crashed. Been asleep for the past 2 hours and wished it could have been more. When I pick my daughter up I'm driving straight down to visit my sister and her family to stay the night, then go to the beach with another sister and her family tomorrow.
I'm so hoping for a sunny day so the kids can play in the sand and water, my older niece can watch them and my sister and I can nap our way through the day. Looks like it aint gonna happen that way though as the forcast is for thunderstorms, so plans may have to change to include adult participations...groan.
Oh well, I know I'll enjoy it once it's underway.

I'm counting down days so I can have the summer off!! Looking forward to maybe getting some camping in this summer with the kids and hubby,,maybe get some exercise in and out of the house!!
How are you doing with the gym? Have you lost inches...weight..??? I am still doing lousy!! I worked so hard at staying on track last week and for what??????? Nothing seems to be working at this point,so guess I will wait for the summer..I sit all day at work,,get home,(hubby almost runs out the back door after chasing the kids all day)!! I get so worked up I start snacking!!!
But tomorrow is another day and I will keep trying!!!!

love the new pic! Personally I'm a cat person so much prefer this one. Last one of the puppies was very cute though.
Anyway, yes I'm still going to the gym and actually enjoying it still! I haven't lost any inches - yet, lost 9 pounds in one week a couple of weeks ago - very exciting and felt like when I'd first had wls, but nothing since then. So basically I lost what I had gained (thank goodness)!
However, I feel so much better and feel my muscles getting better. I am getting definition in my arms legs and yes, I know under the flab my tummy is getting tighter. I'm much fitter than I was. Trouble is that I keep snacking on the wrong things so haven't lost any more pounds. I found that I need to eat every couple of hours and eat a proper meal three times a day then low calories snack in between and drink gallons of water. When I was losing I was peeing enough to sink a battle ship!! But knowing my body as well as I do, I cannot find a magic formula that 'works' consistantly so play it by ear each day. Thanks for the opportunity to remember what I should be doing!
Unfortunatley for those of us left here, it is a long road we travel, BUT it also shows strength of character that we are hanging in there til the end.
As you say, tomorrow is another day and we can dust ourselves off.

I started weigh****chers on Wednesday with a group from work, there are about 13-15 of us and we meet every Wednesday. I am doing my best and I haven't been hopping on and off the scale so i have no idea how i'm 'really" doing but i know the results will show next Wednesday. This weekend is action packed as most of them are but i'm going to try and get out there and get walking. I have been battling some profound exhaustion lately and i'm hoping it's not depression rearing it's ugly head. I didn't have depression before, food was a wonderful pacifier but now it seems that i battle some serious mood swings. What i like most on the healthier eating plan is that at least i'm in control.
Tonight we're having a sex in the city party and i know there are going to be all sorts of naughty treats there, i'm going to have to have a plan so I don't hit the buffet table like a banshee! Andi
