Get Ready....Get Set......AND.....

Ok tomorrow is our GO day, tell me how you are preparing so that we can truly try and go back to our losing state of body and mind! Tonight i'm going to pack my weeks worth of supplements in snack baggies so all I have to do is grab one and get off to work in the morning. I'm going to pack my breakfast, lunch and snacks so that there is no reason for me to leave my desk for nourishment. My dinner is a steak and broccoli and what i plan to do is cut off a hunk and save some veggies so that I can have lunch on Tuesday. Tuesday's dinner will be Wednesday's lunch and so on! What do we use for a low carb dressing? Hugs, ANDI

I have stocked up on protein powder and emergenC It was hard to find but I did find it. I have lots of meat and veggies, though veggies and I have had issues lately. Especially salad, it just upsets my tummy something fierce. I am looking forward to doing this... it will be good to do it together for sure

I could not find the emergen-c where did you find it? I'm going to try and throw my body into ketosis today, I've printed out the list of "stuff" that Ruthy's article highlighted and I'm ready to rock it. I've taken my vitamins/supplements for today and I've got almost 24 ounces of diet/decaf iced tea in me already YAY. I will drink another 24 ounces on the way to work. That's my challenge to myself, can i get in a whole 24 ounce bottle of water by the time I arrive in the parking lot. Some days i can do it if i don't make all the lights and some days I can't or fall short and I allow myself to drink it going into the hospital. Do you guys play any games to get yourself to do what you have to do? ANDI

I went out and bought a new can of protein powder so no excuses that I don't have any. I also plan to keep up my exercise - to add to the 'program', so bought a bike last week and have been out riding it!! Pre wls I was too embarrassed to be seen on a bike with my butt hanging over the tiny weeny little saddle!!! I cycled two miles last night uphill and on the flat one way, downhill and flat on the way back instead of going to the gym. I have also been watching the tv shows all about people having wls and/or losing weight, as it reminds me where I've come from and what I've been through. I find it helps me keep the resolve to keep going and NOT go back to where I've come from. We've been through too much to let it all go to waste (or waist!!). Hugs to everyone - we can do this...

bought the asian spray dressing and i'm gonna rock it! I DID forget to buy salad and mine went funky on me so i'll go out yet again tonight (in the rain EWW) and go buy a nice salad so i can have chicken and salad with asian dressing for lunch tomorrow or maybe even breakfast. ANDI

I like them, jus****ch any sugar... I dump...LOL I am well known for going to the store and actually forgetting the thing I went for and coming out with a cart full of everything else...LOL
