Where is Everyone?
I miss our "May'Bies" how is everyone doing? All here is status quo and I'll take that for now. Slowly I creep towards my goal but at least i'm creeping there in good company. In my weigh****chers meeting there were (3) others who had weight loss surgery...nice to see i'm not the only one at not at goal yet. I have (4) weeks from this Saturday for my sons bar mitzvah, I've been wearing my party shoes around the house so they'll be comfy on the day of the event! What's new in your lives?
I'm home today with bronchitis, so please give me a shout i'm a bit bored. I'm supposed to be at rest but the meds make me a bit wired. ANDI
Hey Andi! I bet you look cute walking around the house in your party shoes! Do you have a special dress too? What does it look like?
My latest news is that I ran another 10K race. Still training for my half marathon in June. And I FINALLY worked up the nerve to go rock climbing! It is scary but it was amazing to actually accomplish that goal! I bought a heart rate monitor watch to track my calories burned and that has been enlightening. Other than that, same ole thing!

WOW i'm so dang on proud of you...a half marathon you GO girl! I'd probably die of coronary once they shot the starting gun off! do you love rock climbing now or haven't you conquered all the fear yet? Once you do you're gonna love it. What has been most enlightening about the new monitor watch? Hugs, ANDI
Rock climbing is still scary! I've been twice but I'm not overly "thrilled" with it. I think it's just not my cup of tea! But I'm glad that I conquered that fear!
The heart rate monitor watch thingy is cool! You can wear it for a 24 hour period just to see how many calories you burn in a day. I have found that I burn around 2700 calories per day without exercise. If I add exercise in there, I burn a heck of a lot more! My dietician told me to try and not eat less than a 500 deficit from my base calories burned otherwise your body clings onto every pound you have. So I should be eating at least 2200 calories per day and I'm not. So that was interesting to me! I'm just surprised that I burn so many calories; I had no clue!
So, Andi ... what does your dress and shoes look like?
Deanna
hmmm now part of me wants one of those monitor thingy's...where would i get one and how much would or should i be paying? How close to the 2200 mark are you?
I have a few outfit changes actually! I need to find an outfit for Friday night still but it can be fairly casual. Saturday morning to temple i've got a gorgeus mult hued pink suit, very sedate but fits like a glove and for the luncheon i've got a silver (3) piece suit that is really hot looking with beads and sequins. I have to find a good bra for it though, the girls are not looking great in the tiny top part with the sequins it highlights how uneven my hooters are. For Sunday's brunch i've got pretty black crepe pants and a red asian inspired top, it looks lovely on and makes me look so slender! hugs, ANDI
Can I join in - even though I'm a day late.
Deanna it's great seeing you again. Oh I NEED one of those gadgets (well want really but what the heck!! - I NEED ONE!!! )
It would be so interesting to see how many calories I burn up just living. Must give you a huge incentive to be active. I know it would appeal to my competative side.
