I have been busy preparing for my next round of knee replacement surgery. I have been working hard to get my new knee in shape for the next round. I have done some serious emotional work to get over what happened before and I think that I am ready to go... I will let you all know how it went when I get back. Holly

Holly just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. When you feel unnaturally warm in the hospital just know that's the angels delivering my hugs to you and that you should feel some calm after that. This time around will be completely different. I took that dance class in your honor last night and you danced hard my dear! It will be such fun watching you blossom on your knew knees! Can we call you that from here on out....newknees? Hugs, ANDI

oo I love that thought of warm angel hugs. The angels I am praying for are the ones who bring a cool breeze when you need a cooling down from their wings... So you should be covered all round now

I love the thought that I went dancing! That is so cool. It is funny, I remember being really cold the last time I had the knee surgery and this time I wasn't. I had read the message about the angel hugs before I left but I was in such a fog that I didn't even think about it when I was in the hospital, but now I know that I was much much warmer than I was before so obviously it works! This surgery was easier. The spinal worked and it made it so much easier to deal with the people afterward. I got food that I could eat because I was able to explain myself better to the dietitian when she came to visit me on day 2. I had brought in an article about medication absorption rates in WLS patients and I educated my brains out while I was there and ended up the night before I left with an adequate dose/time that worked to keep the pain down to a dull roar. That is a good thing. My sister who is looking after kids and me said that I was not green this time when I got home. Apparently I had a green tinge to my skin when I got home (from pain and lack of sleep and adequate food) so I am far further along than I was before. So thanks for all the good wishes, they obviously worked! Holly

(((((((((((((((Holly)))))))))))))))))) SOOOOO glad you are home and feeling better than before. You are becoming an old pro at this ~ you've got it down to a fine art!!! hehe. What a shame though that you had to do your own research and not the medical proffessionals taking care of you! Now have a speedy recovery at home and get back on your feet (dancing) in no time.
