Taking control
Hi All
I have decided to take control over my eating from the last few days - grabbing what I can from the hospital store (it's been touch and go for the last week, and still is).
So starting today, I am doing just liquids. This will include soups, yoghurts, protein shakes, etc. I may also include pork rinds as the ones I have are packed full of protein
and fat ;o() but nothing else - no carbs at all. But I'm not sure about those yet. I think I need a few days with no 'crunch' factor, unless it's in a soup, like veg or meat.
I need to kick start my weight loss again as for months now nothing I do seems to be making a difference and I really want to reach normal bmi for my 2nd year anniversary - just over 3 months away. I've got 19 pounds to lose, so if I can get my body into losing gear again that should be possible.
I'll be posting regularly as I will need the support to stick with this! I feel like I'm in a battle with my body that wants to hold onto this fat that it's had on it for over 30 years.
Thanks for listening everyone.

WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's great news Karen. I have been thinking alot about you and your situation. So glad it has worked out. Now you've got the hard work ahead of you raising 2 children!!
I'm sure it will be easier for you to control your eating now that the family is sorted. If you are anything like me I can only concentrate on it when other stuff in my life is sorted. I know it shouldn't be like that, but
Good luck on the 5 day plan. Let us know how it is going.

I get on the scales daily now, and am sad to say that they are creeping up and I know why.
Dehydration is my middle name.
I truly do not think that I am sneaking extras... well too many extras.. heehee
