Weekend plans

Good Saturday morning to you all. What does this weekend bring for you and yours? I have started off with a home made cafe latte in bed - wonderfully relaxing. I've already worked with my daughter on her spellings for school on Monday and hubbie has taken care of bathing her and getting her up. Now doesn't that sound perfect... We have an appointment with the chiropodist late morning for daughter to treat several planter warts on her feet whcih we can't get rid of, grrrr. and then she is going over to a friends house for an afternoon playdate and sleep over. Hubbie and I are making the most of it and going out to a quiz night this evening and then I plan to completely make the most of tomorrow morning and us having the house to ourselves... hehehe. Well that's probably too much info, and it will probably turn out to be hahaha Weekend of fluids for me as I need to curb the carbs cravings and up my protein intake, so the shakes powder are coming out of the cupboard, getting a dust off and being used again. Another weekend of sheer craziness then I wonder why I'm so exhausted come Monday. I have foiled that by taking Monday off which means we are expecting snow, if these kids have off too i'm going to just cry! I have to hit the post office today and mail out (3) ebay packages and then pick up stamps. I need to pick up (2) gifts because my princess has a birthday party today and tomorrow that she is attending. I need to go over to my in laws and approve my sons bar mitzvah invitations and then I need to cook them dinner (probably soups so that they stay and are toasty warm!) then I have to meet someone in the mall so she can notorize some stuff for my husband and I. Sunday is a crazy day here! I have to take my daughter to Hebrew School, my son and I have a bar mitzvah program at Hebrew School, the girl goes home with a friend of hers to our house because her mom teaches second session at Hebrew. My second son goes to second session and I'm volunteering to help at Hebrew, then princess has a birthday party at the mall and the boys want to return some holiday gifts that don't fit well! So I guess we'll do that and tomorrow is a big football game and I'm allowing myself some wings and some popcorn so i'm looking forward to that. ANDI

Well, my weekend has turned into something between Ruth's and Andi's, not as busy as Andi's and not as relaxing as Ruths. I finally have a few moments to myself, both my son and husband are napping and I have a pot of homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs simmering on the stove top. My sister will be here on Thursday, so I did some cooking yesterday (gumbo) and today so I don't have to work so hard later in the week and next weekend. Hope y'all have a great week!! Diane
