Action Plan
Ok, so what strategies are you going to put in place today to help you not keep eating what you shouldn't be?
I've got cheese & ham for lunch and I plan to have a protein shake mid morning. Haven't planned dinner yet, and I need to find a way to stop me keep putting my hand into the cookie tin in the office. I am trying to think of a reward system (like stickers for children) so that I am focussing on the postive things I am doing rather than on the negatives - ie I can't eat that cookie or that bag of chips etc etc. Not sure what yet
Hi Ruth!
I'm planning out my daily menu. I have protein shakes ready for me too. And I'm sticking with my exercise regime. I have a 5K run on Sunday so I really need to keep going to the gym, even though it's raining buckets out there! But, this is something I can do and I will do!
I'm so glad you can relate! I've been PMSing this week too and when that happens, I feel like I can eat with a bottomless pit. Ugh!
Today is a new day and I've started it right!

Well my plan went in the garbage ... for lunch I ate a 5 piece chicken nugget from Wendys and half of a junior size Frosty. Then I ate a MexiMelt from Taco Bell for dinner (it was beyond hectic yesterday!) and after that I ate 4 brownie bites and 4 Dove chocolate pieces! Ugh, so much for a good day, huh?!

Can you think of a reward that would make sense to you other than food? I have been trying to figure one or two out for me lately... I have been wanting to go and soak in a hot tub with all the wet weather we have been having lately so that is going to be one of my rewards.
I found this a while back:

Holly thanks sooo much for the list. I remember reading this many months ago and had forgotton all about it. I am going to print it out a couple of times and put it up where I can see it easily - in the office, at home in different rooms, etc.
Aghhhh, the idea of a soak sounds wonderful and just what I need right now I'd forgotton how busy life gets at Christmas. That is definitley going to be my reward/treat for tonight (even if I'm not eating perfectly today, I still deserve it don't it )
Yeh, I do, but boy does that sound good hee hee
I omitted to admit that I had rhubarb crumble late last night too I even ate half then waited a while so I could eat the other half grrr how stupid. At least now I know how to correct it, and will.
I'm trying to take on board what someone has on their signature:
'Progress not perfection'
Isn't that the truth!
