LBL over!!!!!!!

Hi all LBL is over... thank God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To say it hurts like a XZXZXOXES!!!!!!!!!!! is about right. I don't know how much skin he took off, and honestly don't want to look much yet! 4 drains bandages and cut all the way around... enough said.... Oh the the nurse who came in to tell me she had this shot that HAD to go in my tummy because it was needed where a fatty place is...... (I threw her out!) so I am leaving my hotel tomorrow for a Dr's visit and then a very painful and drugged up 3 and 1/2 hr drive home.... so far tummy very flat, butt small, legs ok, not great, wrapped up like a mummy... heck I could scare myself this Halloween... but missed you guys!!!!!!!!!

I dont' blame you for throwing that nurse out - I would have given her some verbal abuse Keep us posted on how you are recovering. Glad to hear the tummy and butt are good. I'm sure the legs will settle down. How long has your doctor said it will be til you are feeling ok again? Get lots of rest and tlc. Take care on the journey home

OMG!!!!!!!!! Ruth you are sooooooooo pretty!!!!!!!!!!! my doctor was shocked with the nurse when I told him yesterday.... my legs are and will always be a wrinkled mess.. after this I don't think I was surgery on my legs any time soon. The doctor says its going to be about 3 weeks recovery. I have 4 drains in and the make it hard to move and sleep..... they are worse than the incision...LOL

Thank you Jean......I am the one on the left with one of my sisters when we took the children to an amusement park. This was after I'd been on the scary rides which I've always avoided before incase I was too fat! You've been on my mind - hope you recover quickly and get some rest

Thanks Andi I will never look decent in a bathing suite or shorts and I have to just deal with it Oh ,did I mention, breathing hurts...LOL

Hello Jean, Congratulations!!!! You did it!!! The pain will get better soon and you will be sooooo happy with the results. Just wait till you can go out and buy some new stuff then you'll start feeling better. I was afraid to look for a few days too, but when you do, you'll be amazed. Just try to rest and do over do it. Thanks Amy! How long did they leave your drains in? mine hardly drain anymore at all... (yesterday was my 1 week)... I have a doctors apt next Monday and I was Hoping he would remove them? They hurt more than the incision...LOL Did your belly button get red? mine did yesterday.. I put some antibiotic on it.... but it does not look infected... I just wondered it that was part of they way it healed...?
