Boy have I ever missed all you girls! I have not been on the sight for months and WOW! I was SO glad to see all the familiar names. I have not hit the century club yet - LUCKY RUTH!!! I am stuck at around 90 lbs BUT - it is my fault! I do not exercise - and am getting back into the snacking mode!!!! ANybody else having this problem????? Not necessary bad snacks but just too many of them!!!! I have been reading about the 5 day plan and have wanted to do it BUT - cannot get motivated. Anyone have a prod??? Hi Darlene, What part of Michigan do you live?? I live in Ohio,neighbor of yours! But anyway,thought I would let you know,I am in the same spot as you! I have lost only 91 pounds and am jealous of Ruth!! I so want to hit that 100 pounds! But I don't exercise either and am horrible at the snacking thing! Lately,I just feel so FAT!! I also would love to try the 5 day plan,but I keep thinking....what would be a good day to start that??? EXCUSES ...EXCUSES!!! I need to make a grocery list and try so hard to NOT snack!! I am really going to try to try it!!! But anyway,just thought I would let you know...I am right beside you!!!!!

HEY DARLENE~~~~welcome back long lost traveller It's good to hear from you. I'm so pleased I finally hit the 100 mark - it's been a struggle I can tell you. I've been soooooo frustrated at times. I've only stuck it out because of this board and all the support I've got from it. I know I would have thrown in the towel about 5,000 times by now otherwise. I did the 5 day plan and it really suited me. I think next time I will just do a couple of days on fluids and not do the whole 5 days. I took the easy option and didn't cook, day 1 & 2 was protein shakes and water day 3 was tuna straight from a can and boiled egg day 4 was chilli and day 5 was roast chicken. I also had a few (about 5 or 6) raisins a day to snack, but nothing else. That way I couldn't get 'confused' as to what I should be eating!! I say go for it, what have you got to lose except pounds It has helped me choose better snacks if I'm going to have them. I really think that if I hadnt' done it I woudl still be stuck! SO glad to see you again Darlene - don't be a stranger~~~~

I am starting the (5) day plan today as well. I am having a snack attack hourly lately and it's beginning to make me not feel well. I eat foods that I know are going to make me sick and when they do I still act shocked (what's up with that?) so today is the start of something big for me! Hugs., ANDI

Ruth - you are such an inspiration to me! If I remember correctly, you had a lot trouble - you kept getting discouraged - am I remembering right? BUT you made it!! I am SO happy for you!! Karen - we will do it! Ready set go - to the 100 lb mark!! OK Andi - I had a strawberry protein shake, 1 glass of water and now a cup of cream of vegetable soup. I cleaned my cupboard and found all this "food" I had bought from my Dr office after my surgery so I figured I might as well use it up. AND most of it, of course is the liquids SO guess what I will be drinking!! Thanks everyone for your inspiraiton to get on the stick AGAIN! Hey Darlene Thanks! yep, you remembered me to a tee!! ALWAYS frustrated, but I keep plugging away and am proof that we do get there in the end, even if it is by teeny tiny steps (with several backwards ones too!!). I've still got a way to go to goal, but am determined to not stop til I get there. You can do it - go for it on the liquids, and as I have said to Karen, if you dont' make the 5 day plan all the way, you can learn from your experience this time and improve next time.
