5 day plan how are we doing?
So I'm coming to the end of my day three - it's been tough, but hopefully worth it. I've eaten protein shakes tuna and eggs, and I had a few raisins and bites of cucumber. Plus LOTS of water.
I've got a cold at the moment, so probably not the best time to do this, so have been VERY tired, and still have a headache, but that could be down to having a late night last night (I was out working - no NOT what you are thinking ha ha) and the stress I'm dealing with rather than the lack of food.
Looking forward to ground beef tomorrow - Bobbie, what have you been eating today? I was thinking of having chilli, what do you think?
Piddles (AKA Andi ), how are you doing on day 3?
Only a few days to go girls, we are on the downward slope - almost there, we can do it. I'm down 4 pounds ( and counting hopefully)
Ruth,
I may try the protein shakes for the weekend, you know....small goals, and see how it goes!!! I wasn't very good today, snacked off and on on a cinnamon muffin that my son baked. We had Burger King for dinner, but they don't make chili anymore, so I was good and didn't order anything for myself, but came home and made a Lean Cuisene Panini sandwich. They are delicious. I'll let you know how I make out this weekend.
Amy
Good for you Any, making right choices - it's not always easy is it Mindyou, Panini sound smuch mroe tasty than BUrger King anyday!
Good luck if you do the protein shakes for the weekend. Once I'm through this I may do the odd weekend of shakes when I need that extra push again.
Oh that cinnamon muffin sounds soooooo good - and after all your son did bake it.....
Yay it's day 5 for me For breakfast I had a shake again, I just didn't feel too hungry. For lunch I had chicken and cheese rolled up together, it was so good! lol I am presently thinking of what to have for dinner, and I plan on having at least another shake. I'm glad I got back on the shakes, I had forgotten how much they help me.
Way to go on the 4 pounds Ruth that's awesome! I think chilli is a great idea...lots of protein and way yummy! Only a few days left for you, YAY! I hope you're feeling better really soon.
I picked the easy route for me - not sure if I was supposed to I had protein shakes & water for days 1 & 2, tuna & eggs & protein shakes for day 3, chilli & protein shakes for day 4 and chicken & protein shakes for day 5. That's it, no sauces or anything added, oh and a few raisins in between to 'snack' on - like 5 or so each day.
If I had introduced any more food I would have ended up falling off the wagon.
You'll 'get it' when you need to Andi. Or just do he first two days every so often?
