Weekend Plans?
we have a friend visiting from Oregon, so we're taking her to see Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. hopefully the clouds will part for some beautiful shots of the lake ringed by snow covered peaks.
i'll also have a grand time trying to teach my 8 and 4 yr old girls how to skip rocks on the lake.
Hi,
I had my parents over for dinnner tonight, they are leaving for their Florida home until Christmas. I wish I could go with them!!! Then tomorrow we start tearing apart our bathroom for renovations. I can't wait till that is done, I have had the "grossest" bathroom known to man and now it will look soooo pretty. I may even pull a bed in there and sleep! Just kidding. I am going to try to start walking again, It has been a slow go since my plastic surgery but only because I'm lazy. I have lost 12lbs since the surgery and a few more would be nice.

Ruth,
I would tend to day that is true about the weight loss following the TT. I hope it continues a little more!! I really need to start exercising again, I had stopped a few months ago because my schedule was so busy. I was working a lot of extra shifts. I can't do alot in terms of working out right now but I can at least walk and I really should be getting my butt in gear with that. As a matter of fact, maybe I'll set a goal for myself to walk everyday until I return to work, that is two weeks from now and see if the weight drops even more. I'll let you know.
As far as healing, I am doing very well. No infections, the scar seems to be healing beautifully and I really haven't had pain at all. Even right after the surgery, I would say for the first 3-4 days I needed pain meds but not anymore. My last drain came out this past Thursday, that was a relief. My plastic surgeon said that he thinks my insurance company will approve a thigh lift, so I may have that done when I have my breast lift done in January, we'll see. He asked for approval for the back/butt, which is also considered a LBL, execpt I had the front done already but I don't think I want that done. I think this plastic surgery "thing" can become addicting and I don't want to get carried away. But...I will say that I bought a size 10 pants the other day and finally tried them on and believe it or not I have to bring them back for a size 8. I don't ever remember wearing that size....ever! Then again, I think the clothing manufacturers are making their sizes bigger now. Anyway, I'll take the 8.
