What are you going to do today to help you on your journey? I am going to go home this afternoon and do some crafting to get some space to myself. I need to up my water intake as it has been low so far today, and then enjoy some cabbage and bean soup tonight.

Ruth, The cabbage and bean soup sounds good,whats your recipe?? Guess with the weather getting cooler now,soup has really been sounding good lately! I had a salad and tortlla soup at the hospital yesterday for lunch. Hubbys off all this week for his Dad and hes making catfish for himself for supper tonight,wanted to know what I wanted....I don't like any kind of fish excepy perch and they are WAY too expensive!! I know what you mean about the water,too,its a struggle for me!

Hi Ruth! Yum, soup sounds sooooo good! I'm all bummed out today because I had my consultation with the plastic surgeon yesterday and found out my insurance won't cover my breast reduction because I don't have enough tissue left, it's all just skin. The ironic thing is that they would have paid for it before I lost weight! So I got a quote for just over $7000 for the breast reduction and if I had a tummy tuck at the same time, it would be a total of $14,000. Guess I need to buy some lottery tickets or something! My husband made a comment about refinancing our house to pay for it but I would feel guilty asking him to do that. I don't know ... we'll just play it by ear and hopefully some day I'll be able to have it done. For now I just have to live with the skin. Tonight is my TOPS meeting so that always helps motivate me. And I need to grocery shop and I'm determined to get all healthy stuff to keep stocked in the cupboards. I'm trying to increase my water intake too and see how that goes. I just feel like I'm in the bathroom all the time! Deanna

Deanne, My plastic surgeon told me $41K for a lower body lift / inner thigh lift and new boobs! If the market were better here is California I would refinance my house in a minute!!! I say go for it! You deserve it! Trish

I'm very tempted to go for a consultation for ps - I want a lower body lift and boob lift. I was going to wait til I'd at least reached a normal bmi, but it really is just my belly that is the problem now - I'm skinny everywhere else. I cant afford self pay this time though - I paid for my wls.

Deanna, That sounds like a good price for the BR/TT, if your husband is willing to refinanace, go for it. You can always pay it back by adding more to your mortgage payment and applying it towards the principle. Consider it a low interest loan to yourself. Good luck. Also, I jus****ched some kind of breast reduction or lift surgery on TV and they took tissue from the upper buttocks and put it in the breast area, I don't know if that would apply to your situation but maybe that would work. I am going to workout! I have not been for a week because I swear I had a brain tumor (not really) and have been laid up sick for a week. I am also going to get in all my liquids which I struggle with all the time. Trish

well, I am decompressing.. today I got full custody of my son with a yet to be determined child support.... yippy!!!!!!!!! he got liberal visitation YUCK!!!!!!!!!.... but its almost over...so today I am taking the rest of the night to relax and plan on going to bed early... that soup sounds yummy... how do you make it? I have all sorts of trouble with water intake...

NOOOO!!! LOL not yet anyway!!!!! but thanks for the support.. its my ex-husband... who decided a few years ago to stop seeing my son... so I took him to court.... (we had shared custody)... I am on my second marriage and we have been together 5 yrs.
