Weekly Weight In - late!
Sorry this is late - I completely forgot on friday! I've been trying to avoid the scales lately as the numbers have been messing with my mind and I decided to have a break from them - well not completely, as I still get on them regularly, just nto as much as I usually do and I am trying not to pay any attention to what the number is!!!
So fo rme here is how it looked on Friday - yes you've guessed it - no change!! This has been going on since May. I've only lost around 15 pounds since last Christmas. BUT the thing to remember is what I weighed before wls and what I weigh now.
Hope you all did how you wanted to
two years ago this month I had my first consult... weighed 330. I've now lost 49% of that. feels pretty unbelievable.
I appreciate all the support that comes from this board. I don't post a lot, but check most days to see what's going on for everybody.
take care.

ok. here's the secret. get really sick. lose your appetite completely. have incredible pain and go to the emergency twice in a week and get admitted to the hospital. undergo a battery of tests and finally get it figured out that you have an internal hernia and a non functioning gall bladder.
have exploratory laparoscopic surgery to have the hernia fixed and gall bladder removed.
it's been a tough journey, but the silver lining was the weight loss. I was pretty much plateaued at about 190-195, and my surgeon's office was fine with me at that weight. Now i need to talk to my nutritionist to see how to maintain this weight.
so in the end, perhaps my weight loss secret is not the best way to go!
