So what did you do this weekend. On Thrusday I saw a kitten running in the street so I ran to try and catch it and it ran under my car and got away. So i continued on my travels and the next morning Jo saw a kitten sitting on her tire of her car. When she approached it the kitty went into her car. We spent 2 hours trying to get it out of the car. It's a little gray tabby. It's little paw is hurt and it was missing a tooth and jo says its because of the hair raising trip I took it on the day before. I saw it 10 miles from home and I went on lots of freeways during my travels. So we take the poor little skinny thing to the vet to have it checked out and he says that the kitty is healthy other than the sore paw. We dont know if its broken and he is too small to tell on an xray. So now I have a new kitten.. we were gonna name it chevy but it reminds me of chevy chase and I dont like him. we ended up naming it ****o which means one who is loved... I wanted to name it 7 of 9 which is itchi koo for the 7 lives it probably lost hanging on to my car...lol.. but I lost the battle.. can you tell I am a star trek fan.. Saturday I worked my butt off at grandmas.. she needed these mats put in the horses stalls. each stall held 8 and each mat weighed 150 pounds.. Four stalls later I was exhausted. Sunday we went to a football game for my son and cleaned house. Not to bad of a weekend but busy busy busy as usual.. Carla

Oh! I just love kitties!!! How cool that you are keeping him ... cute story too! Good for you lifting all those mats ... your muscles are probably sore! This weekend was great ... we went to the outlet mall and I got some clothes! I went to the Liz Claiborne store and their sizes must run really big. I tried on a size 10 jeans and they were so big. So I went back for the 8 and they were too big. I finally decided what the heck, I'll try on the 6 ... and they fit! I probably could have squeezed into the 4s if I wanted! I was freaking out and I just had to buy them for the stupid size 6 tag on them! Ha, ha! So, I realize their clothes must run big because no other size 6 pants would fit me I'm sure! I also found some new shoes, a new shirt and 4 pairs of new underwear. It was so much fun! Then we rented some movies and my husband and I baked cookies together. This was the first time since surgery that I've baked cookies. And the great thing was that I didn't eat all the dough (like I used to) and I ate 2 cookies and was fine with that and so far I haven't been tempted to eat the entire container of them. Tomorrow I will send the rest with my husband to work. It's kind of nice knowing I can control myself! Deanna

You big softie Carla - and yes, I would have done exactly the same thing! My kittens are racing around tearing up the place, but I just can't get mad at them. We decided to keep three out of the litter of 5 - my friend had 2. I just couldn't part with them and much as my husband said we needed to, didn't look very hard for homes for them either - I think he is more attached to them than I am! Sounds like you both had busy weekends - major workout for you Carla, and great for you Deanna showing self restraint on the cookies. My weekend was a bit of a downer to be honest. I made stupid choices food wise as I am fed up with not having lost any weight since May, so ended up dumping and going to bed! And I can't believe that as soon as I got up, in my mind I was mentally thinking ok what shall I eat I've tried so hard on this journey to sort my mind out and for the most part I feel like I've done pretty well, but I felt like I was back to square one this weekend wanting to stuff food in my mouth without even tasting it like there is no tomorrow - mindless eating. I don't know what's going on. I really need to reign it in. So this morning it's back to protein shake for breakfast and back to basics for the rest of the day. I'm sooooo frustrated and feel such a failure. I at least wanted to get to a normal bmi, but I've still got about 15 pounds to go, depending on the day. I'll keep plugging away at it, and maybe it will shift eventually

We have been going back and forth on keeping and getting rid of the third kitten. I vote for keep it and my foul, nasty husband says it's got to go.....truth be told I don't think it's the cat that needs to leave, but never mind that! Friday i spent teh night shepherding everyone to and from school, middle kid pick up at 5:00 oldest boy to school at 6:30 then pick up at 9:00, he was starving so we did a McD's run and then home. Saturday i had kid drop off at 7:!5am for football practice, did the food shopping, picked said child up, put away groceries, went to a dance clas**** the mall for new sneakers and hair cuts (boy my hairs short, NOT lovign it yet) then to blockbuster, then to uhhhhhh somewhere else that i can't remember where ye****ched a movie, fell asleep during it, burned popcorn so bad we all almost choked to death. Sunday was laundry and foldng day, rest of the groceries that no one bothered to tell me we didn't have, hebrew school, meeting with a dj for the party in April and then down to a birthday party and bakc to the house. My allergies are butt whoopin me and I feel like heck in a handbasket. Hugs, ANDI

Good grief - you make me tired just reading about your weekend! Did you have time to breath? Just leave the hubbie to find a home for the third kitten and see how long it takes him. The longer he leaves it the harder it will be anyway and by default the kitten stays and you win by default! So when are we going to see the new hair cut? Mine is orange/red right now. When we can afford it I'm going blond again. Sill trying to grow it, but boy is it thin. At least I'm not losing it anymore, just wi**** would thicken up a bit.
