Question du Jour - I'm Pirating This From Carla For the Day Only
1. What are you eating now that you never thought in a million years you'd enjoy.
There really isn't anything different that I have been eating.
2. Are there activities that you do now that would never have entered your mind before surgery? I do a lot of things that I wouldn't have prior to surgery. My job is one of them. I am a news reported for our local paper. I would never have had the confidence to try this job before. I had the opportunity to run a race car at our local dirt track two weeks ago and LOVED it.
3. Were there any surprising results of w.l.s. that you weren't expecting?
My husband's attitude change. He has become so clingy. He is having a hard time with the attention that I get now because I was always the quiet one in the relationship.
4. Emotionally, what do you think is the toughest part of this journey? I think the toughest part was learning to eat again. You have to eat to live instead of live to eat.

3. Were there any surprising results of w.l.s. that you weren't expecting?
I was also hoping that my relationship would get better, and it has in some ways, but in others its worse... we agru.... He gets jealous and has way different standards for what he can do and I can do. (Like go out to dinner and stuff with female co-workers) and I better not go to dinner or in a car with a male friend (even if he's GAY)!
4. Emotionally, what do you think is the toughest part of this journey?
I find it very very sad who different I get treated, by both men and woman. Guys, who would have mooed at me before, now flirt.... and staying away from things I should not eat is an on-going struggle.
