Hello one and all! Well the work week is coming to a close AMEN! It hasn't been a difficult week it's just been a long one. Tonight is Yom Kippur, that's the jewish day of atonement, it's where you ask G*D for forgiveness for your sins and ask him to write you into the book of life for one more day. I've started cooking and baking and the house already smells delicious! We will be fasting from 7:00pm tonight to 6:00pm tomorrow, it's supposed to be a 26 hour fast but no one can last that long. I figure G*D will have to understand being short changed (3) hours and I do enough good deeds that i think it equals out eventually, but who knows. How has your week gone? I'm not interested in what the scale said I'm interested in how you are feeling and what's been going on. The scale can lie and cheat us but how we feel remains the key to our good health: physically, emotionally and spiritually. I feel that this week has been a turning point for me. I have gone back to basics and while I am not strict i do feel better and my clothes fit better and that's what counts. I think it's easier to reign in the eating when you gain two or three pounds then it is when you are up more significant weights. I have managed to get in my proper fluids all week long AND to remember my vitamins and supplements for most days (sorry about Thursday i was a crazy person, i woke up late and was behind the 8 ball all day) What are your plans for the weekend? I have to go hear a dj on Sunday for my sons bar mitzah, I hope this one ends up being a winner because i'm exhausted from looking at losers. ANDI

Hi everyone How has my week gone - well, if you'd asked me that before wls I would have said terrible, but you know what, even though the week has been tough, I have made mostly good choices food wise, and emotions wise (didn't let cir****tances rule my emotions or eating - mostly!), so my week has been good I agree it's been a long week, but the weekend is here so we can celebrate (and Trish that doesn't mean you can go out for a drink )

Ruth you read my mind...darn it! Ok I won't...well maybe just one glass of wine, ok? I've had a good week...feel really good, very strong and upbeat. Did mostly the right things this week. Can you hear me making excuses to celebrate???? I don't have any plans with weekend but things tend just to happen to me so we will see how it develops. Trish

Yes.. why has it been so a long week. I feel the same way. Did ok on the food choices but I have struggled with it. I know I am suppose to eat more but I worry I will gain weight so its a tough one to figure out. I am taking a day out from the kids and Jo and I are going to the fair. We like to look at all the stuff in the booths. We have two friends going with as well so it should be a nice day. I will definitely get some walking in.. I plan to eat before I go and bring my snack so I wont have to worry about food to much.. the fair tends to only have fried things which my tummy doesnt like. You all have a great weekend and I will see you tomorrow. Carla

Hi there Andi! I'm doing just groovy today! My husband smoothed out our argument last night and that felt nice ... he brought me home a nice Mum plant for my flowerbed so that was a nice sentiment. Everything felt better ... whew! We went to my daughter's open house last night and I put on my sassy little skirt and some high heels sandals and I looked hot, if I do say so myself! I turned a few heads and got some smiles and "hellos" from some cute men! I have never felt so fabulous in my whole life! Ha, ha, ha! I just kept on smiling and feeling pretty darn tooting good! It was amazing! It's amazing what a pretty outfit can do for your self esteem! Tomorrow I am going to be putting more tile in the kitchen ... I am determined to get that project done! Sunday morning I am going to get up and go for a 4 mile run. Other than that, just hang out at home for the weekend. Deanna
