Woohoooooooooooooo It's the weekend! What are you doing? I'm planning on a relaxing one, recovering from the first week back at school (and work for me). I am visiting a friend, and taking her one of our kittens that is ready to leave momma cat. I also plan to paper the bathroom - yes I still haven't finished it yet ha ha.

Yes, Thanks Jean. It got slightly darker thank goodness, and will go very nicely with the cream top half of the walls, when I get around to doing them.

Oh! I wish I could have one of your kittens! What do they look like? Was it a big litter? Tomorrow I am helping my sister move some stuff. Then maybe rent a movie and relax! I need to go to bed early and get some extra rest because ........... I will be running a 10K (6.2 miles) race in Portland on Sunday! Woo hoo! I am all pumped up for it. The farthest I've ever run is 5 miles but in my heart I just know I can do it and I'm excited to accomplish this. My goal is to run a half marathon (13 miles) next spring and then hopefully work on a full marathon by next fall. There is a new Ikea store in Portland and I've never been to an Ikea store ... so after I run my race I'm going to go check it out. Deanna

Our cat had 5 kittens - and they are soooo cute, I want to keep them all. We have 2 tortoiseshell, one grey strip (which we are keeping) one pale ginger stripe and one bright ginger and white. I'll try to get some pics for you I wondered when your 10k race was and if you'd already done it or not. I know you'll do great, be excited not nervous or channel the nervous energy into running energy Let us know how it goes. DO your family coem to cheer you on? I like IKEA, but they are always so crowded here it puts me off. Plus unless I go regularly, I can never find anything so get totally frustraed and end up having an argument with hubbie!! So I don't go very often (which just makes a vicious circle really Have a great time, and dont spend too much

Oh Ruth! Tortoise shell kitties are my favorites!!! I sure wish I could jump a plane and come on over and sneak one from ya! My 3 year old, Matthew, keeps begging me for a kitty of his own. He keeps saying he wants a kitty named Sam. We already have 2 cats but I might have to break down and ask Santa to bring him one for Christmas! Hee, hee! Deanna

my 2 tortoiseshell have gone! We took them to my friends today - I'm so glad they are with her as I will still get to see them regularly, but boy am I missing them.

kittens or puppies? I LOVE the names - and runts are my favorites too. We have a little kitten who is the runt of a litter of 5 - she is going to a friends home today and I just know I'm going to miss her. We have been calling her baby.

these are kittens Ruthy, I don't have the patients or the time for puppies, this is a HUGE year for our family, the oldest boy has his bar mitzvah coming up, he's a starter on the football squad, the middle boy is taking skating, hebrew class and school and my princess starts her hebrew lessons and school and she is undecided about dance or gymnastics.
