Weekend Plans?

It's Friday again - comes around fast when you're having fun For me it's last minute preparation for back to school next week - I've got most things this year - usually I leave it all to the last minute, despite good intentions at the start of the summer break!! Will try to do more decoratng of the bathroom - I have a tendancy to start things then not finish them So a nice easy relaxed weekend for me, how about you?

I have to CLEAN my office today! it is insane! I have to work in the morning, 75 miles away, also insane, but a good thing to get me 'motivated' to work I agreed to a midnight showing of 'once more with feeling' (buffy the vampire slayer) with my husband as a date night. I do not know what I was thinking when I agreed the rest of the weekend will be spent 'packing and sorting' and getting ready to move my daughter / grandson in with us and us to move to norway kat http://www.wretchedheathen.com

So why moving? god you sound busy , I always get tired just reading about it....

it is a 'double' move. my #2 of 5 child has a baby, her husband got a wild hair up his butt, joined the marines and ships out October 9th. now they will have NO INCOME until mid january. freaking lovely. so we are moving everything in my office space to the former nursery and all of her into my office/monster closet. what a PITA then we have to box up her three bedroom house, put it into storage for 6 months, and bring essentials here. then in 5 months, we are putting our house on the market and selling it, in the mean time we are selling anything that has an electrical plug on the end because we are moving over seas and nothing there takes 110 volt / 60 amp appliances. WHAT an ENORMOUS PITA so I am craigs listing everything and dealing with that. photos. product description, and pricing. I have already shipped on sale and the guy is SWEARING that even though it was packed with air pillows and double boxed, it was broken, so that he can get a refund. I wonder if Amazon.com will ups me some beer?

Having gone through the transatlantic move 2 times I can get a bit of what you are going through - of course, I didn't have the moving in bit of family also... Is this a sudden move to Norway? How are your children taking it - exciting tho'. What about your business - are you planning to set up there? How did your summer family visit go? I've been thinking recently that I'd like to move back to America - but maybe it will have to wait until my daughter finishes school and moves onto high school in 4 years time Hope your weekend isn't too crazy and that you find a bit of peace in all the arrangements. Just imagine going through all this before wls......

not really sudden, my husband has been here for 11 years and has whined about it just bout 3910 days of that time. so it is his turn, the kids are not one to complain, they all know that once I have made a decision, there is really no 'discussion' about it. it is a benefit of being the 'authoritarian' of the family. if I want your opinion, I will give it to you type parent. ;) I am going to take my business with me. summer went really really well. strangely enough. ;) course now I am beyond broke and deep in debt again. I am uploading the photos of the house, a much more complete set than my Realtor would probably like, but that is just the way I am.

Their is a big craft show by my store Saturday so I'm hoping to be very busy then Sunday we are flying to Colorado and I have a full spa day booked for Monday!
