Weekly Weigh In

Start Weight: 285
This Week: 150
Total Loss: 135
Next Goal: lose 5 pounds, back down to my adjusted goal weight
I am bouncing and that sucks. okay, so I am at 150 which was my original goal weight before surgery but when I got down to 143 I adjusted my goal weight to 145 and bought all my clothes for that weight. well. they are starting to get a little snug, some are downright unpleasant but I think that was a washing machine error on my part.
now I want to get back to 145 not up here at 150 my 'high end' aunt flo weight when aunt flo is no where around.
I know what happened..
Doritoes, Reece's and extra large servings and extra snacks through the day. that adage if you take in more calories, your body will start loosing is a MYTH and not a good recommendation for me.
I can have a protein bar or food, but not both. ;) and those 330 super charge protein bars with 30 g of protein are not worth the 110 extra calories. blech
so one 150 cal 20 g protein bar a day is my limit.
and definitely
M O R E W A T E R!!

Hi Ruth!
I feel your pain ... I have been stuck for 3 months now and I'm about to go insane! My weight has bounced between 163 and 167 during that time and the sad thing is that I know I'm eating below the calories my Nut. told me and I'm exercising very hard 5 days a week. It makes me MAD! Why isn't the scale moving??? It's so frustrating and it makes me want to give up exercising so hard. Ugh! It's a vicious cycle!

Hi Deanna
your weight is mostly muscle. {you are not
a fat girl anymore} {your are an athlete
} {very very cool
}
with all you exercise... your body will hold on to the weight because you work out so much and your body needs the calories you eat to survive and to build the muscle... if you really want the pounds to go down ...don't work out so much.. then you body will let go of the pounds.
otherwise, be very proud of all you have done and what a great athlete you are becoming.
your friend Jean
