Weekly Weigh In
It's that time of the week again! How has your week gone - good I hope
Grrrr...for me, I've stayed the same as I have been for months now - up and down the same few pounds...sigh...at least I know the pattern by now. It'll get moving eventually and then I'll drop a load all together.
Hope you are doing better than me...
Hey Kathryn
You are doing GREAT!! ONEDERLAND - YAY You have done a great job losing over 130 pounds in total WOW WOOHOO........
AND...you lost 4 pounds this week
Just keep plugging away and you'll get to whatever goal your body wants. Keep posting your weight each week here - that way no matter how you feel about it, you'll get encouragement from others here. No one is going to judge you (well they'd better not or they'll have me to content with )
GRRRrrrrr for me too!! I have played with the same 2lbs for several months now!! I guess my body is where it wants to be!! I am ok with getting so close to my Dr's goal and not making it as I think I would look sickly if I lost 6-8 more pounds!! But everytime that stupid scale goes up 2 lbs I freak thinking here I go again....Just like in the old diet days!! Thinking I knew this was too good to be true.
Last week 126
This week 128
week before 126
Up down Up down I might as well be on a see-saw!!!
GRR!!! Same here!!
Keep playing with a couple of pounds--up and down!!
Still staying under that 190---but want more!!
This week 189.2.....
Todays our 39th wedding anniversary Sure wish I could have made it to my wedding day weight!! But its better than the 277 I WAS at!!
But its me that has to do it....and I know what I SHOULD HAVE been doing!!
Anybody belong to Curves??? I am checking into this....
Happy Anniversary!!!! My hubby and I celebrated our 15th on Aug. 1st. I just can't imagine 39 yrs. That is Awesome!
And I have to agree no to the Curves! Not at this point! Don't get me wrong I use to belong to curves and it was great for the first few months to get me motivated and its all female no coed but after that you really need the variety a gym, trainer and different classes offer. The only way I got out of my contract is my Dr wrote a prescription telling them I couldn't exercise due to my hernia. So be careful of any contracts.
Missy
Missy,
Thank you! Happy belated to you, too! Yea, 39 years is a long time to be married to the same person!!! Especially now a days!!! I guess it kinda runs in the family--his parents were married 65 years, his brother has been 42 years already...
Thanks for the info on the curves, thought it sounded good. Maybe I can just have a trial period and not have to sign a contract or anything!
Ruth,
Thanks!
My husband will be out 4 years in October and has not gained any weight. He still has his ulcer and still is smoking! Makes me so mad !!! But I still love him!!!!He weighed in close too 400 pounds when he had it and is staying around 190-200 pounds ! He is doing good. My sister-in-law has been out about 7 years and weighed in the same and is down to 198.. My brother has gained 10 pounds of his weight back, but is off his insulin shots anyway!
Thanks for asking!!
I guess my question to you is what are you doing now for exercise? If the answer is Nothing, then Curves is a fine place to start, something always beats nothing! I would not sign on for a whole year, go for a smaller period of time and evaluate how you feel after that! Joining a gym can be expensive and overwhelming and then you have to add the personal training sessions (extremely expensive at my gym) for even more money, at what cost is it too prohibitive? Good Luck, Andi
