Hi Everyone! My hair started getting thinner 6 months after surgery and then I had to have my gallbladder taken out and a breast biopsy a month later and it just kept getting thinner and thinner (I had really thick hair before surgery, thank God) out until it finally stopped in June. Anyway, I take Biotin to help and it's growing back slowly but I was wondering if anyone had any other things they did to get it healthy and growing quickly?? Appreciate your help, thanks! Sandra

Hi Sandra I had thin hair to start with , but as long as I keep taking biotin it stays in and I get a small amount of re-growth. As soon as I stop taking the biotin (or forget) it starts falling out again, and it gets thin. I'd love to hear of anyone else has anything better to recommend...

Thanks for the reply, Ruth, I thought I was the only one. I'm in a WLS support group where very few people had the thinning I had. It so sucks!!! Sandra

I had the thinning problem also....I take Biotin 5000 mcg and I also take Zinc 50 mg a day. I have alot of regrowth so it is helping. Kel

Hi! My hair is so thick now its not funny~~!! I had thick hair before I started losing it AND natural curly. I used to try to straighten it all the time, but I gave up! It grew back in more curlier and thicker! I just let it do what it wants to now!! I am lucky I didn't have thin hair, but don't have any advise on what to take !! Hope it all grows back for you!
