I've been thinking...(hmm dangerous I know ) If we can lose approx 15 pounds in excess skin if we have plastic surgery, then my adjusted weight, without those 15 pounds puts me in normal bmi!!! (just scraping in there ) Do you think it's cheating if I think of my weight as 15 pounds less than the number that shows on the scales I can call it my adjusted weight and no one will know - well except you and me!!! Ha ha, who am I kidding - only myself, but it's good for a laugh.

I just to think that all the time. I dont think I could count 15 pounds of excess.. when you get to a certain point that rolly flab doesnt look the same. mine is kind of flat with a lot of wrinkles in it.. i may have 5 to 10 pounds of skin on me... i think back when I was 165 I had that much excess skin but there was still fat hiding in it.. the fat seems to have left that skin now.. I can enjoy the laugh with you... i still think that way.. gee without the extra weight I would weigh 115.. omg... could you imagine that... Now I can just sit back and smile with you on this.. sound like a fantastic idea actually

I don't count it in, but I have allot!!!!!!!!! of excess skin (I do not look as good as Carla)...LOL its in my legs, arms, butt, and tummy, 10 to 15 is a good estimate ... but I also consider the swing up in weight most of us do after 15 to 24 mths and want to loose as much as I can now.

Ruth, DON'T count it. I secretly counted it in my head (I never told anyone that I was doing it), but was soooo disappointed after the plastic surgery. The first thing I asked the Doc after surgery was how many pounds of skin he took off, he said 10. I was like rock on, when I get home I am going to weigh in the low 120's. I get home and weigh, and damn-it I weigh the exact same as I did as when I went in for surgery. I had forgotten about swelling and all, but man was I still disappointed. So long story short, it has been almost 6 weeks since the PS and I am still not to the low 120's. ;-(
