Weigh in Friday
Well its friday and time to see how we are doing. I am going up instead of down right now and it is driving me nuts. I know I had cortisone last week so I am sure thats what is going on but it still maddening. I have to look at the positives and let it go about the weight gain. It's hard to do this maintance thing... not loosing anymore than freaking out if i gain a pound. I know the other side of not loosing and plateus.. it is rough but for those of you still loosing or working to goal. know this it is very strange.. very strange to change the way you think.. losing comes nature to me cause I have done it so long and messed up so many times.. this trying to find a happy medium.. this is tough.

I know i shouldnt complain but it is driving me nuts and I am below my goal but omg.. this is so tough and I am not complaining for support as much as I am tryng to let you know how it feels at this part of the journey.

Oops...forgot it was Friday!! I'm losing track of the days now I'm off for the summer break. Thanks Carla for posting this threat. I imagine it must be very strange being in maintenance mode - a new experience for the whole of my life when I get there.
I'm the same as last week I'm determined to lose this week. I've only got a few more til I've lost 100 pounds and can join the century club

Yeah for summer break.. what happened with that job you were thinking of taking. yes maintenance mode is really weird.. i liked it better when I had to loose.. at least I know what to do..
You will lose... just keep doing what your doing.. how is the exercise classes going.. you know you wont show a weight loss at first cause your body rebels than one day you hop on and you drop 10 pounds.. just remember all you have done.. you are almost there and I am right here rooting you on.

Exercise class going well - I go Tuesdays and Thursday. Think I might get bored with it after a while but I'm going to keep going til Christmas, and then maybe switch to a contemporary dance class
Sigh, yes, bodies are strange things aren't they. You can keep eating the same thing and all of a sudden it decides to drop a load of pounds. It happens all the time to me. I should be used to it by now, but it's still frustrating. I'll just wait it out. Once I get back into work routine I think it will shift again - I hope

I had gained 1 lb on Wednesday but back down this morning so maintained this week although Lord knows how! I have been fighting the cracker demon!! HEHE day 3 no crackers!! How are you doing on your Icecream??
I totally understand what you are talking about with this part of the journey I am where you are at and it really is tough!! I have never had to maintain before!! I had gotten down to 124-and freaked out-Too close to my Dr's goal (120) I guess started eating things I know is not on my plan and got up to 128 stayed there for a few months and then last week back to 126. I think I would like to be 125!! I am ok with not meeting my Dr goal really think I would look sickly at that weight. This really is an emotional and mental trip!!I was hesitiant to post about this (so glad you did)as I didn't want to discourage people who are struggling or who have been slow to get to their goals! We will all get there in the end some of us just got there early and are having to deal with these issues first. We all have our different struggles to deal with!! Hopefully we will figure it out and be able to help others when their turn comes!

I've seen the crackaholic thing and chuckled. lucky for me i dont have that monster.. of course i have the ice cream monster so I dont know which is worse. At least I cant carry ice cream around in my purse to snack on it all day. Well day 3 for no ice cream for me as well.. actually i just did my totals for the day and I am way under my usual eating so I am looking at if I should eat more to get the cals and protein up to something more respectable.
