When I've lost weight I'll..............
1. Come on admit it - did you ever use this phrase before WLS?
2. And what was it you kept putting off til you lost weight?
3. And have you done it?
So for me...
1. yes!
2. skiiing again - I'm going to try and persuade hubbie to go this winter
try out new things - yes I started my own small business selling bags & accessories
I'm stepping out of the safe zone
I try on more styles of clothes - I go into the regular size stores
Oh these so much more - there is also a lot of emotional stuff that I put off, which I am adressing right now, whcih I wont' bore you with.
I haven't joined an exercise class yet, but I am working on it - that is my next challenge that I need to conquer.
i'm SO guilty of this.
When I lose weight I'll.....
* take more photos - haven't really done this but will eventually
* wear more stylish clothes - doing it now and LOVING it
* write a book - no but i keep saying i'll start
* go to a waterpark and let my kids see how much fun i am - did it, doin' it gonna keep on doing it
there is a lot of emotional baggage that comes from being fat that i'm working on. ANDI
As for the exercise class - I phoned up about one today and told them I'd go tomorrow - yikes!! It's jazzercise - apparently a combination of aerobics and dance, so I'm hoping I'll enjoy it. The instructor says it also includes strength training so I'm also hoping to uild some muscle up and burn some calories.
So I will be able to tick that off my list
OK I admit
1. Yes, Yes & Yes
2. Roller skating (use to all the time & loved it) Roller coasters, Water slides,
did the roller coasters & water park this summer with my son before his surgery!!He was so impressed with his mom! Just kept smiling all day and holding my hand.
Still need to go Roller skating but I will do it before the end of summer.
Shopping-Whew- Went last Friday night and all I got was 3 pairs of cute shoes!! I had trouble finding clothes I liked when I was a 2X now I am a size 2 and can't find anything in the Ladies section & I can't find anything in the Junior section because the size I need just doesn't work on a body that has had a baby & no TT yet. I give up on shopping!
Maybe I'll just go get a tramp stamp-hehe I have always wanted one and said I would get one for my 1 year surgeriversary but didn't.
I understand on the emotional stuff-have been dealing with alot of it this summer too!We should all try to be alittle more open with what we are dealing with emotionally! I have got to get back to my support group meetings because it was so helpful.
PM me if you need to talk.
