Have you noticed how you can fit more clothes into the washing machine now, or that the ironing takes half the time???? It used to take ages to iron my clothes as there was so much material in them, being so big, now it takes no time at all!!! Mindyou, I have more clothes now as I can buy lovely tiny ones, so it kind of counteracts the effect twice as many things to wash & iron

Oh, I HATE IRONING! I absolutely refuse to do it unless it's a dire emergency! Ha, ha! You might guess that I usually buy clothes that don't need to be ironed. I don't know what it is but I absolutely loathe that job! I'd rather scrub the toilets than iron clothes! Hee, hee! Deanna

I'm with you Deanna.. I dont iron unless it is a have to thing.. I have a nice little place around the corner that if you drop it off in the morning you can have them back that afternoon.. we have a close personal relationship although I dont always understand what he says...lol... I buy mostly clothes that dont need to be ironed myself.. and If it needs to be iron.. i give it to Jo. she doesnt mind ironing like i do... somethings in life are good just like i dont do trash, and mowing.. she doesnt cook or bathe the kids.. it all works out..

Ha ha... well seeing as we are being honest, I don't do ironing either - hubbie does it!! We came to this agreement years ago - I wash, he irons. But I have noticed that it doesn't take him so long

I don't iron either...LOL I will put it back in the wash under stem mode, or use my clothes steamer (if I have too)

Oh gosh yes!!! I used to have to hang everything to dry before---you know the dryer shrinks those clothes!!! So mine and my husbands clothes before surgery--I did ALLOT of ironing!! Now its in the dryer and its good to go!! I have more room in my drawers for my clothes now, too!!

Now why does that not surprise me? You always have the ability to look at things from a different view point, which I admire

I like to iron, it is a sunday thing and it gives me set aside alone time and clear my head time. I also like the sense of...not accomplishment but satisfaction I guess. Taking something so unattractive and making it so nice...strange I know but it is a good feeling....
