I didn't post yesterday for the weekly weigh in and as the day went on I started feelling REALLY bad! I ached all over and had a fever,the whole nine yards......think I was in bed for 30+ hours! Of course my weight was at 191...but anyway I weighed myself this morning and it was 184.6!! Couldn't believe it! Of course I haven't been able to eat and haven't since Thursday night. I have the lovely strep throat thing going,as I still have my tonsils! So am working on some penicillin,sure hope this kicks itam feeling really bad right now....so back to bed!

Have you been drinking? Some of that may be fluid loss, but yeh, if you haven't been eating it will be dropping off. Just to warn you though that when I recently had strep throat I dropped a load of weight but some of it came back as soon as I started eating again. So don't be disappointed if it goes up a bit when you are back on your feet. Hope you are feeling better soon, and that the weight drop gives you a boost

Sure it can happen. are u getting enough fluids. it may do a little bounce back when you start eating again but some of it should stay off.. hope you feel better.

just concentrate on feeling better, worry about the weight the bounce back or whatever when you are feeling well enough to make it stick. ANDI

Thanks everyone! I am trying to get in the fluids.... Mostly popsicles, I know I will get bummed when I start eating again!! But if I only gain back a couple pounds even~~ I will be happy!! At least I will be under that darn 191!!!!!! I am feeling better today and am getting my appetite back and wanting to eat something,but keep reaching for the popsicles! Just am going to have to try to stay on something to make me stay at that weight!! Any healthy good non fattening good for me recipes...out there???? Need all the help I can get right now!!

When I had this a few weeks back I started on Chicken noodle soup---I know, I know, very predictable, but it slipped down my throat easily and wasn't too strong a flavour. Plus it has protein in it, albeit a small amount.
