How was your weekend?
truth be told this weekend sucked the poop out of a dead chickens butt! I picked up my son on Friday, we swam and it was awesome to see him after 3 weeks away. He told me i looked beautiful, man i love that kid! We went to the junior olympic trials and he came in 4th out of 39 kids, great but not great enough to move on, top 3 only...he missed it by 2.1 inches (so size DOES matter or at least length)...he cried the whole way home, he cried through New Jersey, he cried through New York, he cried through Pennsylvania. He was sobbing in my husbands arms it was pathetic. I was sobbing like a lunatic because i couldn't figure out how to console him. His age group was 12-14 and I tried to explain to him that he's a very young 12 and came in 4th imagine what will happen as he gets older and really fills his body out....he wasn't buying what i was selling! I didn't realize that i wasn't going to see my princess when i dropped him at camp, we weren't allowed on campus because it was disrupt them, I knew it but i thought i could wangle my way around it, so i cried again. My son called my cell phone last night to make sure i was alright, he really is becomming the type of man i wanted him to become! andi
I have been eating like someone that has been on a diet for 18 months. I just wish at times that I could eat more at a time so that I could get 'full' and 'stay full'
I miss being able to 'tank up' and 'rack out'.
I got on the scale in the bathroom / hardware section at walmart, it is the same as at home, 147.5 lbs in the afternoon is 'normal'
I had a buttload of blackberries today, as many as I could eat along the river banks (at least a pint) before getting sick. then I topped off with some wild apricots. packed 5 more in my pockets to eat back in the motel room. YUMMY
walked a little here and there over the weekend. so I am not a total loss.
