Romance in the Air??

Okay, so I've not been on the board so much the past couple of months!! I've been sooo busy. Deanna asked for details on my "guy" friend so here they are. How did we meet? - I've attended the same small country church all my life. He also attended the same church most of his life. He's 11 years older than me so when he married 14 years ago he and his wife attended the church where her father was pastor. He returned to our church after his marriage ended. He wasn't looking and neither was I. It just kind of happened. What's he look like? - I think he's just gorgeous BUT I did put a couple of pics up so you decide . He's about 5'10 200lbs. He recently lost 45 pounds (mostly from the stress of going through a divorce). He wants to lose about 20 more so it helps that both of us are trying to eat healthy. How are things going? Great! We've been talking about 2 months now, but we both smiled and small talked at church for over a month before he finally called me. Ever since about week 2 we've talked everyday and seen each everyday (except for 2). He's a really great guy who had a bad marriage so he has some self esteem issues from that. I've been overweight all my life so of course I have self esteem issues. He tells me he can't believe someone as young and beautiful as me could care about him. It just blows my mind because I feel so lucky that he cares about me. He knows all about my surgery and is so sweet to make sure I follow "my rules." I've had a couple of mild dumping episodes around him and he just rubs my back and asks what he can do or takes me for a walk when I eat one bite too many. Its just so wonderful and I am just so incredibly happy. That about sums it up. Its amazing how much can happen in 4 months! Mandy

Alright girl.. he is a cutie pututie... you too look very happy together.. I think it is great he excepts you for who you are and is supportive of your surgery... that makes it even more incredible.. I am so happy for you.. I knew it must be going well since we hadnt seen you much lately and I am so glad to hear it is.. Good luck to you and your new man.. you deserve it.. ymmmmm........yummy yummy, hubba hubba - he is an absolute hunk. He has such kind eyes - I'm a sucker for eyes - I bet they twinkle don't they! I am very pleased for you - as I've put before - timing is everything, and in God's hands. Bless you both.
