Our church has had Vacation Bible School this week. To end it we are doing a LOCK-IN at a nearby bowling alley. Roughly 30 kids (ages 8 - 18) and 15 adults. We will have pizza after service tonight then games. We'll head out about 12:00. The lock-in will be from 1:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. I LOVE to bowl and I love this night. I'll pay for it dearly tomorrow though. My guy friend has become active in our church over the last couple of months so him and his 11 year old son are going to be there. He likes to be in bed by 10:00 so we'll see how he deals with being up all night . It'll be a night of lots of coffee, laughing, and bowling! Mandy

Mandy, it's so good to see you posting again! I was wondering where you were! So, you totally need to fill us in on the details about your "guy friend." What does he look like? How are things going with him? How did you meet? We need details girlfriend!!! Deanna

On Saturday, I plan to spend some craft time with my daughter, Abby. She needs some one-on-one time with me really bad! So we'll do some crafts and I'll probably let her help me make dinner. I'm hoping to get some more tile work done in our kitchen too. On Sunday morning, I have a 5 mile trail run. It's at a park right next to our Zoo and the run will end up inside the Zoo. So my husband and kids will meet me inside the Zoo and we'll wander around afterwards. Even though I've done runs before, this run makes me particularly nervous because I've never run 5 miles straight before. I know most of you probably don't understand my fears but they are MY fears! I'm scared because it's something new to me and the distance is farther than I've ever gone and there is a time limit. The time limit part scares me the most! The part I do like is that it's an all-womens event called "Run Like a Girl" and we get cool t-shirts! I'm hoping the weather will be cool and that my legs will have some new-found energy to carry me through. I'm just hoping to have fun and finish in the time allotted. After the run, I'm hoping to walk around the Zoo with my family and have a picnic lunch. I just want to have a fun day and enjoy ourselves! Deanna

(one is 15 and one is west point general military) ( not pretty)... and then if their is no bloodshed or divorce Jamaica on Sunday... (where I have been told they smoke pot while driving you at high rates of speed on the edge of cliffs... ) (we have a 2 1/2 hr drive to our hotel) and if I survive all of that I will have a great relaxing vacation....

I am working most of the weekend. Have to take some photos today. Then possibly on to the go kart track for my youngest son to race. Tomorrow, I have two photos to take for the paper. Then back to the office on Monday.
