Lets talk about gas
OMG.. the gas has got to stop.. I have tried gas-x, beano.. nothing seems to work.. I am terrible.. anyone else having this problem and what do you use.. does it help.. my family is threatening to leave me over it... try being in an RV for a week with me.. lol... there is no were to go to let it out.. they just had to suffer.
I can totally relate. I have gas episodes all day long....during work, when I'm driving, at home....it seems as if it has a mind of it's own. It's not a surprise since I knew this was one of the effects I could anticipate after surgery. I don't try to look for a solution, I knew what I was getting into so I just focus on on what matters throughout the day and try to be respectful to others...which means running out of office to the outdoors, releasing the gas and hoping no one is nearby to hear the sounds. It actually makes me laugh thinking about all the gas I expel......a small inconvenience for such a huge benefit of overall health.........oh well there's nothing I can do but keep smiling. Good luck with your search.
You guys just crack me up - the things we 'share'....far more than I would with friends face to face I'm telling ya.
Before WLS I had horrendous gas, but like Andi, as long as I keep away form those carbs I'm smelling like a rose hee hee. Mindyou, last week when I wasn't eating anything, OMG I stank - my gas was so bad!!!! How can that be when there's nothing inside me
Oh well, as has been said already, it's a small price to pay. Hmmm, gas or fat, gas or fat???? I know which one I'd chose anyday
there are nights when my wife refuses to sleep in the same room with me.
sugar free ice cream really makes things bad.
at support group meeting this one older lady was telling about charcoal filters for one's underwear. none of us could keep a straight face, but perhaps i should quit laughing and check it out!
