Weekend

What are you all doing this weekend? Something nice I hope. I am doing a bag party tonight (hopefully have lots of fun and earn lots of money!!), then tomorrow we are going to stay in Suffolk (east of England) to stay in our friends cottage which is 500 years old, with a thatched roof (made of straw). It will be veyr restful and just what we need. Come home Sunday evening to catch up on the weekend chores of washing, ironing etc. I'll try and post photos next week of the cottage

Ruth, can I come with you? That sounds so fun! I'd love to come to one of your bag parties! How is that going, by the way? And that cottage sounds delightful! Have you seen the movie "The Holiday?" I love the cottage in that movie! This weekend I need to get out and hit the pavement and run to practice up for my 4th of July run. I also hope to put some tile up in the kitchen. Other than that, I'm hoping that my husband will give me some time to scrapbook (which means he needs to keep the kids out of my hair!). I haven't scrapbooked in way too long and I really miss it. We might rent a movie too. I just want to have a fun, relaxing weekend! Deanna

Sounds like a dream place to stay, I want to visit over there next year..... we are still in NC , and plan on going to the mountains so my son can climb around in the falls, then head back to Fl tomorrow.... Jamicca is only 1 week away... Yippy!!!!!!!!!!!!

today is #5 birthday boy's party. he is 6 years old. tonight I start packing, will take the better part of the weekend, enough stuff for 2 months.

We're going to a country fair tonight with fireworks and tomorrow we are going to the pool club! Hugs, ANDI

Went to a western clothing store yesterday to try on Rocy Mountain jeans (my dream outfit, Rocky Mountain, boots and a nice shirt, not sleevelss though). Bought one pair and found out I can wear a size 9 in them, which looked really small when I was holding them up. Couldn't believe they fit. Might be able to get into an 8 if I lose this other 7 pounds. Not doing much today except catching up on housewrok.

It was lovely being away, but I had (have) the poms (poor old me's!). I'm off work today and am on antibiotics, so hopefully I'll start getting better soon. At least I am not eating as it's too painful to swallow, so I'd better lose weight this week hee hee.

Sipping is about all I'm doing, but seeing as I've lost 3 pounds since Friday through not eating I'm not complaining! Yes, even though I am feeling like something the cat dragged in, I still managed to weigh myself and be thinking about the positive outcome of this How sad is that
