Okay, everyone! It's time to post how you're doing ... you don't have to post what you're eating, but update us and let us know how you're doing! Today I'm planning to eat: B--1 slice whole wheat toast with peanut butter, Danon Light & Fit yogurt with granola S after gym--banana with peanut butter L--leftover bacon wrapped chicken, 10 cherries S--Special K Protein Plus cereal with skim milk D--porkchop, 1/4 c. green beans, 1/4 c. augratin potatoes (if I have room) S--south beach cookie pack, sugar free pudding cup That gives me 1306 calories for today. Exercise for today: Going to the gym to run 2-3 miles. My minimum is 2 miles and if I reach that and feel like I can keep going, I'll go for 3 miles! I have a 5K run on the 4th of July that I need to be ready for. Yikes! Deanna

Hmm...well you asked for it, so here it comes - I'm doing crap and I'm eating crap!! I don't seem to want to eat main meals, so am just grabbing trash to eat. It is doing me no good at all. So tonight I made myself an omlette, with ham and cheese in an effort to eat something better so I don't end up snacking on whatever get's into my hand tonight. But now my pouch is really grouchy and is paying me back for feeding it a proper meal (not a large meal, just not snacks!!) I cooked a whole chicken last night so that I could eat something ready and healthy, had some for lunch and regretted it, so am avoiding it tonight. I am also sick and tired of eating chicken which is the only meat I can really tolorate and seems to be the best way to get protein other than shakes. I've had it so many different ways over the past year, I'm going to look like a chicken soon and start squawking I want to eat right, but my tummy doesn't seem to want it. Lets hope its a phase that will pass soon.

Oh no Ruthie! You gotta get out of that funk! I eat mini-meals all day too. I just can't do the 3-meal-a-day thing! I posted a pork chop recipe under your other thread. Have you tried my lasagna recipe? It's yummy! I use ground turkey (not the turkey breast, but the regular ground turkey) all the time. I usually can't tolerate chicken very well, except for in Carla's Bacon Wrapped Chicken recipe. But I use ground turkey ALL THE TIME! I make meatloaf out of it. Here's how I make meatloaf. I love it! MEATLOAF * 1 pound ground turkey * 1/2 diced onion * 1 egg, whisked * 16 saltine crackers, crushed * 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (from the "shaker" container) * salt and pepper Mix the above ingredients together and form into a loaf. I usually put some potatoes in with it in the pan (I peel them and cut them in half). Then I squirt ketchup over the meatloaf and spread it out over the meatloaf. Cover pan with foil and bake for 1 hour. My husband really likes leftover meatloaf sandwiches! Deanna

What about ground beef, ground chicken or ground turkey can you do those...chili, meatballs in red sauce or brown gravy, salisbury steaks, meatloaf, you name it if you can eat it and i'll find you a recipe honey. keep your chin up doll and remember at least you don't have to keep your chins up anymore!!! hee hee...yes that's true - not chinsssssssssss any more Trust all you guys here to ALWAYS cheer me up thanks. It is strange the way our pouches change their ways isn't it I'll live through it and try and create new habits. Yes, fish is a good alternative - I'd never heard of Tilapia before being on here, but there are lots of other alternatives I can do. I haven't tried ground turkey, so will give that a go too. Thanks friends

today I tried to do right. yesterday was a killer day of 1800 calories. today fit day has me at Totals 964 Calories fat 31 g Carbs 130 g Protein 42g I swear, I did eat, chicken and 1/2 a 12 oz milkshake for lunch and dinner was at a salad and soup bar. Chick fil a was totally ausome with my custom order: my daughter and my two sons and I ate out and we wanted it exactly the way that we wanted it. two chicken sandwiches PLAIN, no dressing, no condiments. a 6 piece chicken tenders, no fries, no extras, two flour tortilla, nothing on them (for the chicken tenders to make wraps, and two milk shakes, with four cups. the 8 year old and I split the tenders, each eating half. the four of us split the milkshakes, each getting 1/2 and then the 6 year old got a sandwich and the daughter got a sandwich. now it was not CHEAP, but we got exactly what we wanted and we threw away 1/2 a milkshake, the daughter decided it was too sweet, and we ended up taking home 1/2 a sandwich and one of the chicken tender wraps. but now we know that we really only need a 4 piece instead of a 6 and 1 tortilla. and next time we may only get one shake and divide it three ways instead of two four ways. I ate until I was totally stuffed, I did not grazing, no snacks. course there were other people at the salad bar that could not believe that while I had two plates from the salad bar, there were just a table spoon of each item on there and only about 4 choices on each plate. they swore that I was not getting my full $7.95 value, but they were ginormous in size, and I do not ever want to go there again. exersize was returning some clothes and buying some other clothes and talking to and from the parking lot, heehee
