Hey Bobbie can I ask you a couple of questions? You dont' have to answer if you'd rather not... Was 135 your goal or your surgeons? At 135 where abouts do you sit in the weight charts for your height - top/mid/lower end of normal? Are you content at this weight or do you want to lose more? Hope you don't mind me asking - no pressure for answers though

Hi Ruth! I don't mind answering your questions at all 135 is a goal I picked, I kinda wanted to go for weighing less being that I'm only almost 5'3" but decided that with the extra skin I'd have left, why try to kill myself over being in the 120's when most of what's left is just skin... My dr. never gave me a goal, but at my one year appt. was very happy with my progress and even asked if I wanted to submit some pics to put in their yearly calendar that they send out! Very cool I thought! For me 135 puts me at a bmi of 24.1 which is in the normal range, but at the top end of it since 24.9 is the beginning of "normal". Am I content? Yes and no, it's kinda crazy, I'm so so happy I got to my goal, but now that I did I don't really know what to do with myself so I'm thinking I might as well keep on going... Heck, I'm only 2.5lbs from being able to say I've lost half of myself since I started at 265, so I think I'll keep plugging away at it and just see where I end up. I am not nearly as dilligent as I was at first and if something sounds good I will have a little of it, I figure it's better to have a bite and get it out of my system, so anyway it will probably take me months to lose that 2.5 lbs but I'm gonna go for it! lol I hope this was helpful!
