How many have just learned to live with the new body?
I am sure many of us are thinking about plastics at this point. How many of us have just learned to live with the extra skin and won't be having any plastics? My insurance won't cover it. I had a different plan when I had the surgery. I don't know that I would want to deal with the pain anyway. But I would love to have a breast lift and some Lipo Dissolve if that would work.
Hi Tammy!
I feel your pain ... my insurance won't cover anything at all. There is no way I can pay for it myself unless I get lucky enough to hit the lottery! I honestly don't know what to do because I'm in desperate need of a breast reduction and lift, and some abdominal work. I could use work done on my arms and thighs but they are the least of my worries right now. I'm having a VERY hard time finding bras to fit me that are small enough around but yet large enough in the cups. It's very depressing to me!!!

I have no intention of spending the next forty to fifty years of my life with all this extra skin. I know insurance will not cover all my reconstructive needs. I am researching plastic surgery in Thailand -their health care system is very highly rated; their doctors and nurses are highly trained - many in the US; and it is 1/8 the cost of plastics in the US - yes, one-eighth.
I have a friend who was in a serious motorcycle accident in Thailand a little over a year ago. He had to have his shoulder reconstructed and was so blown away by the level of care he received he is starting a Medical Tourism business. When he went to his orthopedic surgeon here the doctors here we amazed at the work that was done. My friend has full function of his shoulder and arm.
I am contacting various med tourism agencies to find out my info and get quotes. Also, my friend is going to help me, too. I will keep you posted.
