Can someone please help me, up until now I have only accounted for my protein and sugars, never watched my carbs, fat, or calories. I don't intend to micro manage these, however, I have 5 more pounds to lose and can't seem to get it off. I was wondering if anyone has a chart for how many of the following you are to have a day: Calories Carbs Fat I understand that we are all different but I would like to get some sort of guidance on this. Maybe I am getting too few calories, or maybe too many carbs. Just would like to know. Thanks, Deb

It really varies from person to person and you need to take into account the amount of exercise and lifestyle you have for the calories. This will also directly affect your intake of the other two. A great tool to use is sparkpeople or fitday. It will break down your daily activity and give you an idea of the things you need to either maintain or loose the weight. It will also track them and tell you how much you are taking in each day. I use it all the time to keep me on track. The problem is to little of calories you starve and dont loose.. to many you gain.. so it is important to have a tool like this to help you make good choices. I exercise a lot so my range of calories is 1300 to 1500 if I want to continue to loose. If I want to maintain it would be higher. I hope that helps.
