I haven't abandoned the boards I promise!! With school being out, I'm just not at the computer as much..I'm out enjoying life (wow). My food choices have been better. Which in reality I've not really had much of an appetite the past week or so. I weighed yesterday and was down to 204.4 (thats 4 pounds less than I weighed Fri). My one year appt is tomorrow, can't wait to see what they have to say. Food for today. B - 1/2 whey bullet (21g prot) L - going to a local mexican restaurant (grilled shrimp, with cheese sauce and a few refried beans) D - fish fry for my nephew's 5th bday --i'll control myself Goal - get in FLUIDS!!!

Food: B--1/2 whole wheat bagel with 1/2 oz. light cream cheese, strawberries S--Danon Light & Fit yogurt S after gym--banana with peanut butter L--1/2 whole wheat pita with ham and cheese (toasted), grapes or an orange S--Special K Protein Plus cereal with skim milk D--meatloaf made from ground turkey, green beans S--sugar free pudding Exercise: I'm off to the gym in a few minutes to tan! My gosh, I need that 10 minutes of heavenly bliss more than you could possibly realize! After I tan I will do full body strength training and then run for 2 miles. I have a 5K trail run scheduled for Saturday and I'm SCARED to DEATH for it! It's in a really hilly area so I know it will be difficult. I'm battling the whole "should I go or should I not go" debate in my head. Ugh! Goal: Clean my kitchen drawers out today. I'm trying to get the whole family onto a healthy eating regimine whether they like it or not! Hee, hee! Deanna

What would make you not go? If you can't complete the race do they take you out and shoot you, make you scrub the tush of hairy old men, eat cream of wheat for every meal for a week? C'mon Dee do you really have to punish yourself like this every time there's a race? There's nothing to be scared of you can do this and if you can't then feel free to start training for the next one harder and longer, but don't **** in your own corn flakes before you give something a try! Oh Andi, I just gotta love you sweetpea! You definately know how to cheer me up! I don't know why I do that to myself. I have this huge fear that I will be the last one to finish and everyone will laugh at me. Now, I know full well that at least I'd be trying and who cares if I finish last, as long as I try my best. I know that in my mind but my insecure side always tries to talk me out of it. There is no reason for me not to go ... I just need to break down that insecure wall I have and force myself to do it. I know I'll be proud once I accompli****! Deanna

hee hee Andi does have a way of saying things, but I think she is right in this. Come on Deanna - you beat yourself up each time, but you enjoy it when you actually compete. Take the bull by the horns and believe in yourself - we certainly do

Hey Andi how I wish the internet was interactive so I could give you a great big hug. Missed you too girl friend. Trouble is that now we have our lives back we are out living them!!! I'm just in the middle of baking a banana loaf - it smells heavenly. Does it make it an ok choice as it has fruit in it hee hee??? I've been saving my food intake so I can have a slither. I saw a poster advertising free belly dancing & salsa classes, so I'm going back to the store where I saw it to check out the details. I'm not doing any exercise at the moment - I know this is no excuse, but by the time I sit down in the evening I forget to get the rowing machine out. Anyway, I resolve to get moving again

Thank you Ruth! You are so sweet! I've been in such a weird "funk" the past couple days and I'm having a hard time putting on a smiley face and moving past it! Normally I can adjust my attitude really quick but I've been down in the dumps and feeling mighty cranky! Can I come over there and have some banana bread? I have this amazing recipe called "Best Ever Banana Bread" and you use cream cheese in it. It's divine!!! It stays super moist from the cream cheese and it's just heavenly! Deanna
