Almost 1 year! Photo Project

I made a photo collage of me throughout the past year and put it on my page. I figure it is a good time because my 1 year anniversary from WLS is in 4 days. I still can't believe how much weight I've lost. A year ago I never could have imagined that I would be sitting here 135 pounds lighter and recovering from plastic surgery. What a journey! My favorite Quote: "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, she became a beautiful butterfly." Me head hasn't caught up with my body yet, but I'm hoping one day I will be able to become the person I knew always was inside.

Hi Karlie Wow - you look amazing! A real transformation. I have to admit I'm a 'tad' jealous!! How cool is the collage...was it easy to do. It really brings home the difference when you see the pictures altogether doesn't it. How are you feeling now after the PS? Better now I hope. Are you pleased with the results? has the swelling gone down on your belly button yet? What a great quote...isn't that what we are all becoming - beautiful butterflies My daughter has just been watching caterpillars turn into butterflies in her classroom. Once they have come out of the cocoon, they have to wait a few days before they can fly to recover from the transformation, and get used to their new bodies. Isn't that just like us - it takes us a while to adjust to our new bodies as butterflies (think I'll put that thought in a separate post for others!!)

Karlie, You look beautiful...your transformation has been more than a physical one. Trust me from first meeting you in our group classes to the confident woman you have become is amazing. You have done a superb job with all the changes and have grown so much. You should be very proud. Trish
