Lurkers

Hello to all our lurkers out there. We are a very friendly bunch here on the May 06 board and we would love you to join in on our posts - the more the merrier, even if you didn't have WLS in May 06 and are just looking. We may dissagree sometimes, but we don't bite and always have a laugh together. So come on, be brave and join our fun. That way we can support each other and help each of us get to our individual goals, hand in hand. Everyone has something to share, even if you don't think you do. I challenge you to give us a go....

that is what gets me, no one bites. why not.. sometimes a little nibble on the neck is quite pleasurable!

you KNOW that lurkers make me absolutely insane......those are the "takers" i think. People who come on here tell us how fabulously they are doing and want all the "good dogs, i'm so proud of you, mazel tov, wish i was you" nonsense and they have done nothing for the boards all year. How excited should i get that you are at goal (and i'm not!) and have not felt the need to post, but you do lurk which is great so you reap the benefits but not the hard work, way to take one for the team? Good night nurse you took the one topic that got my panties all knotted up and wadded tight! Hugs, ANDI

Ruth, you caught me! I have been lurking since my surgery 1 year ago on the 25th of May. I think I have replied to maybe one posting, but have enjoyed reading the chat back and forth on the May 2006 message board. I was a light weight to begin with and now am down 87 pounds. I still have about 12 more to go to be at a normal BMI. I will get there! I had the surgery for myself (to become more healthy) and for my family (DH and 4 and 6 year old daughters). My DH had RNY also (in April 2006) , so we are on this journey together. I promise I'll pop in once and a while and make a comment or share something, but those girls keep me busy and when I am on the computer they are begging to play their computer games or want me to do something else. Jane WELCOME.... I just KNEW there was another friend out there. SO glad you 'came out'. You have done really well - are you pleased? How is your hubbie doing? Was it helpful doing it together or more difficult do you think? Do you keep an eye on each other!! Boy, I know how busy you can get with two young daughters. As you may know, I have one 6 year old and she keeps me going. We are on mid semester break this week, it's raining and I'm already going crazy...hee hee. I had all this outdoor stuff to do which she loves, but we are going stir crazy indoors. Look forward to seeing your pic, and hearing more from you. Thanks for posting Ruth
