So it's monday and its time to get back on track for those of us who have lost our way. This weekend I felt like all i did was eat, eat, eat. I was in charge of food (of course) so snacking was just a little to easy as I had them in my bag.. darn.. well the scale didnt move as much as I thought it would which I am thankful for. So I am ready to hop on board and get serious about following my plan.. care to join me.. awe come one guys.. I need you... here we go Vitamins- done Water- need to up that today.. gonna start on it now Food B- protein shake 250 cals 35 pro S- yogurt 60 cals 2 pro L- south beach lunch 270 cals 21 pro D- chicken and veggies 300 cals 25 pro S- pretzels 100 cals 2 pro Exercise- hitting the gym twice today.. in the morning for 40 elipitical and with my trainner. I go back tonight for more supersets alone and one hour of step.. I need it havent been since Wednesday of last week. Goal- relax a bit.. the past week was very busy and I havent had a chance to rest at all. Fasting- I am out of ice cream now so I plan to not buy more.. that way I cant eat it.. thats my plan.. I apparently cant leave it alone if its in the house.. Snacking- did ok last night.. I was so tired I feel asleep on the couch with is incompable with eating so it worked..lol...

B: KAshi cereal maybe 1/4 cup w/alittle milk coffee snack: 9:30 piece of beef jerky L. salad Snack: carrots and Celery and cheese S: don't know yet---chicken maybe??? snack maybe go to bed early so I won't eat!! So hows that for being on track??? Will I lose a pound???

Karen Hang in there, you're doing great. I know the feeling, but don't starve yourself - it may backfire and your body hangs on more tightly to the food you do eat. I know that's what my body seems to do to me. Relax, take a deep breath and allow your body to lose when it wants to. I agree absolutely with Andi.

B'Fast: 1 ounce of smoked mozzarella cheese and 3.5 mini pretzel sticks Fluids: Vitamins and 24 ounces of diet/decaf iced tea Fluids: 24 ounces of decaf coffee Snack: small beef barley soup (whoever put the peas in it, may you have a royally yucky day!) Lunch: steamed chicken and mixed veggies w/garlic sauce on the side and a fortune cookie Exercise: 1.5 miles around the track and an exercise video! Dinner is a very good question as i'm so full right now i can't really think on it but i've got ground turkey thawed and turkey breast filets thawing, so one of those may be dinner with some spinach. Ok...crazy b-day/surverversay weekend is OVER. Been out every night since Thursday...Yikes! Vitamins: Will do Water: Always a work in progress - but is one of my "mid year resolutions" Food: B: Activa yogurt / grapefruit cup S: pretzels - darn it! L: Green salad with chicken S: south beach cereal bar D: Steam articoke - chicken wrap That's the plan...and you all know I am not a planner! Gym: Just can't do it...4 days of late night celebrations has kicked by @#$.

My big goal for this week is to get 64 oz of WATER in each day and ALL of my vitamins. B - 7:50 - 10 oz decaf coffee w/ 1 splenda and a drop of milk S -10:00 - handful of peanuts from vending machine (100 cal and 5g prot) L - 11:30 - mexican restaurant - 5 grilled shrimp with cheese sauce, about 1 (225 cal and 15 g prot) tablespoon refried beans, and 1 small tortilla wrap...I did munch on about 8 chips and salsa before the food came. S - 3:30 - 1/2 chicken bacon wrap (300 cal and 21g prot) D - probably around 7:30 - other 1/2 of wrap (300 cal and 21g prot) Totals - 925 calories and 62 g protein Mandy

Good golly, it's a GOOD THING I work out as much as I do cuz I sure am eating WAY more than you all are!!! Food: B--1/2 slice whole wheat toast with 1/2 oz. light cream cheese, 4 large strawberries, sugar free hot cocoa S before gym--Danon Light & Fit yogurt S after gym--1/2 banana with peanut butter L--1/2 whole wheat pita with ham and cheese (toasted), strawberries S--Special K Protein Plus cereal with skim milk D--lasagna made with ground turkey and whole wheat noodles, salad S after gym--south beach cookies and sugar free pudding See what I mean! Exercise: Already went to the gym and did a kickboxing class. Will go back tonight for my nutrition class and I'll also run probably 2 miles. I'm still not eating all the calories my dietician wants me to. She would freak out if she knew I was going to the gym twice today! She already thinks I'm obsessive! Well, I am! I'm freaking out over my calories for the day because they come out to around 1500. She wants me eating 1800+ because my resting metabolic rate is 1860 calories ... so if I'm exercising everyday, I'm burning way more than that. Oh well, I'm just eating to make my body feel good. But I find myself feeling guilty for eating so much! I would really freak out if I ate as many calories as she wants me to! Goal: Quit freaking out about my calories. Yeah, right! I'm completely obsessed with how many calories I eat and burn! Deanna

Wow... I wish I could do what you are doing.. I work out 5 days a week myself, but i have a very lazy job where I am at the pc all day. I dont eat anywhere that amount of calories. I spoke to my nut and she said just keep doing what I am doing (she doesnt seem very knowledgable either). I often wonder if I am in starvation mode cause I keep my calories at about 1000 a day and work out for at least 500-800 burned at the gym each day. You are eating more, and still loosing weight every week. My bmi and Fat rate are both about 21. 4 so I dont understand why with what I am eating why I am not just dropping weight like crazy. They said I need 1800 cals a day as well..what am i doing wrong. Do you have any suggestions.. according to my bmi I could still loose 15 pounds to hit the low end of my weight.. The scales are not moving right now although I know I have dropped inches. My waist is a 27 which I am happy about.. as well as lost inches everywhere else. Ok so I am driving myself crazy with this right.. help...
