Tomorrow's A New Day - Let's Celebrate
Hello one and all! I wanted you to know I had the best time on vacation and now i'm ready to get back in to the swing and use my tool properly. I've definitely found that carbs go down well and I overindulged!
Monday Morning Starts My Week, Here's the way my food i'll tweak:
1. I will plan my meals and not let them be a surprise
2. No grazing, i will eat at scheduled times and drink at other times
3. Done with Carb'Fest '07
4. Minimum of 64oz of fluids
Exercise:
* Monday and Friday i'll be walking the track as the kids have track and field, i'll do (6) laps which is a mile and a half each time. When i get home i'll either do the exercise band with the instructional video or i'll do belly dancing
* Tuesday, Thursday and Friday i'm going to the gym, I want to take my yoga classes again AND i want to fit in a step/sculpt class at least once or twice in addition to my tread mill and elliptical
wednesday i've got a field trip with my daughter where i'll be walking (and packing my lunch) so i'll wear a pedometer so i know how far i've gone!
This week will be about self control, not necessarily having it at all times but at least gaining it back.
Does anyone want to join me on this or am I in it alone?
Hugs, ANDI
I'm right there with you. I've been on a carb fest lately, which needs to come to an end.
I've got one more manic week ahead, then it's relax time. However, this week I am going to plan my meals and not jus tgrab the first quick convenient thing that comes to hand.
I also need to up my exercise - I've been walking loads but haven't been rowing at all in the evenings as I've been tired. The crazy thing is that I know if I did exercise I'd have more energy
Here's my tweeks:
1. I will plan ALL my meals
2. I will not graze - I am not a cow (mooooooooooo)
3. I will get my rowing machine out and use it as it was designed and not as an ornament to be looked at
Carb'Fest '07
ROTFLMAO
I swear that I think I am grazing all day long.
yesterday I have cream of wheat for breakfast (7 am) and lunch (11 pm)
then I stopped at 3 pm and got a chicken sandwich and ate half on the way to the festival for an afternoon snack
then dinner at 7 pm was 1/2 a turkey sandwich made with the heals of the loaf.
late night snack driving home (midnight) was the second half of the afternoon snack chicken sandwich
so it feels like grazing all day, but it is mini meals every 3 hours or so. the carbs are just kicking my tail.
today it has been trail mix all day. handfuls of the stuff. but I sure did walk a lot yesterday, from 5:30 to 7:30, so 2 hours, okay, not all that much, but if FELT like it was good excersize
